WR Josh Gordon
I've been seeing some people claiming the Browns cut him, which I hope isn't true and it's just an overreaction to his "A fresh start..." tweet.
Otherwise the Ravens, Cowboys, Chargers, Giants could've grabbed him on waivers.
Anyway, I hope the Patriots show some interest and potentially make a deal (low risk-high reward).
It's a rare opportunity to bring in an ELITE talent at WR for their Hall Of Fame quarterback, at a relatively cheap price (4th + a player? Just a 2017 3rd? Would that be better than rising another high pick on WR who may bust?)
I also don't buy the talk about Lombardi not approving of him. Yes, he wanted to trade Gordon as the Browns GM, but: 1) the situation Lombardi was in + his perspective as the Browns GM at the time, is completely different from now as an executive with Patriots, and 2) those trade rumors were before Gordon took the league by storm in 2013.
