If he was doing it to help Brady he would have shown up at the appeal hearing. In fact he declined to even testify by phone.The best option would have been to at least lose with honor. Rolling over was tantamount to admitting your team cheated. The Pats received the harshest penalty ever. That will always be used as proof positive the Pats cheated. F'n idiot Kraft! Also, let's say it helped Brady get one a 1 game suspension or even no games. It would have just looked like Krt covered up Brady's cheating. The question should not be how likely it was that a Kraft fight over the penalty would succeed, but what did he have to lose? By fighting he would have kept his honor, the teams honor and supported Brady. And if he lost, well the Pats would simply be where they are now in terms of the penalty.
