Read in some thread that we need to root for Denver, but that just doesn't seem to make sense to me. I would have thought to root for Cincy, but now I'm not sure. Can anyone that has time and is willing, explain why we need to root for Denver?

I'll admit the only reason I was thinking of rooting for Cincy was cuz even if they get the 1 seed, I believe we'd have no problem beating them at their place. Playing in Denver on the other hand...

Of course best scenario is that it doesn't matter who wins cuz we win and get the #1 seed.

Don't care if we have to play in Denver or Cincy. We'd win in either stadium.

... we already lost in Denver. Granted, due to our screw ups, but still.

Plus they got that whole lack of oxygen thing going for them. Would prefer not to play there, that lack of oxygen is possibly one of the biggest home field advantages in the league. IMO.

Everything will lead through foxboro unless our team chokes in these final two games. I feel much more comfortable at home. Only lost one game on lousy special teams. They only have to win one of the final two.

I agree that this would be a better road game to have, but should Dalton come back in the next 3-4 weeks, I don't think it would quite be the cakewalk that some are suggesting. Cincy played us tough a couple of seasons ago, and I think we'd see something similar. Dalton is the key to the concern, or lack thereof, for the Cincinnati Bengals this season.

Either way, yes--much better than going to Denver. No doubt.

Damn, that asteroid is bigger than the earth and moon! We'd all die, not just den and cincy.

Peyton's gigantic forehead will serve as a protective shield.

And then, and only then will it finally be Manning>Brady. ESPN will come out and say for all the SB success, Brady never saved planet Earth the way Manning did. You already know what comes after that.

If Denver wins aren't we guaranteed the #1 seed?
No if they win out and we lose out we both finish 12-4 and they have the head to head tie breaker so they get the #1 seed cuz cinci would be 11-5.

My dream scenario is that the Pats gets the #1 seed this week with a 50 burger on the Jets. Meanwhile, Denver gets the #3 seed. Then, in a cloud of controversy, Peyton returns, and gets another "One and Done", extending his all time playoff record! :D

Cincy is an almost guaranteed one and done.

Gotta pull for Denver believe it or not. I say that because that will allow us to split these last two games and be guaranteed the 1-seed. This allows us a possible hiccup this Sunday yet finish off Miami in the last week to lock up the 1-seed.

Who to root for? – Pats! What difference does it make? We control our own destiny. Root for the Pats. We win one game and it doesn’t even matter who wins between donkeys and redheads….

Going for Denver let cincy loose the division to Pitt so we don't have to play them our first game
