The team and strategies make the players. Not the other way around. Unless you are TB lol

Great point. And to think I use to have you on my "ignore" list

Why cuz that suits your argumemt more? He started the 2010 season ok. He just quit.

Anybody with a shred of football knowledge knows Randy was done.

When you can only trade a 4th round pick for Randy Moss, you know he's done.

When Randy Moss plays on three different teams in one year due to a lack of productivity, you know he's done.

He literally retired the next year. He came back in 2012 for one last shot at a SB then retired for good the next season.

Now let's use common sense and realize that 2007-2009 were the last three years Randy still had gas in the tank. I'm still waiting for these examples of him being lazy from 2007-2009. I guess I'll wait for a few more weeks before I finally give up

Great players dont win SBs Dont even play in them. Happens all the time. ****ty players win SBs Lucky players win SBs

Teams really win and lose.

And if you want to get into a whos better discussion. I can make an argument that Troy Brown was one of the greatest football players ever and certainly for the Pats (non QB).

Anyone who wants to debate me - bring it.

I get ****oo. Its part of my charm

Alright let's review. You said:

I said it was a myth and described a play where Randy went over the middle.

You said:

So in response to this was a 10 minute video of Randy doing nothing but going over the middle.

Your response to the video was:

You are completely and utterly wrong. Accept it and move on.

Do you expect for all of his over the middle catches with the Patriots to be condensed in the first 5 minutes of the video? Point is that Randy Moss went over the middle. The video is indisputable evidence. You gonna keep doing your best Roger Goodell impression and ignore the facts even when they're staring you in the face?

You're wrong. Accept it.

Yea man keep posting gifs to prove your point. Doing a real good job of it. And no highlight YouTube videos are gonna prove me wrong. Anyone with eyes knew Moss was never gonna go across the middle with an LB waiting for him. Maybe as a Viking, but not a Patriot.

Keep posting your YouTube clips and gifs though champ!

Wrong again. I don't post gifs to prove my point. I post gifs to show a reaction to what somebody said. In your case I use facepalm gifs to demonstrate the utter stupidity you post. For example, the very next thing you typed below:

Doing a real good job of it. And no highlight YouTube videos are gonna prove me wrong.

Anyone with eyes can watch the video I posted and see Moss go across the middle with a LB waiting for him multiple times.

Maybe as a Viking, but not a Patriot.

Well that's not true. Do you even have any actual evidence of this or are you talking out your butt? I'd say it's the latter, butt talker.

Keep posting your YouTube clips and gifs though champ!
And you keep posting nonsense with nothing to back up said nonsense. If you want to actually post any sort of evidence for your ridiculous accusations then, hey, be my guest.

Now let's use common sense and realize that 2007-2009 were the last three years Randy still had gas in the tank.

It garnered a lot of disagreement at the time, but I was saying in 2009 that Moss looked close to done. I know his numbers were very good, but it felt like that had as much to do with the lack of alternatives than greatness on Moss' part.

Regardless, when opposing fans bring up Moss, they tend to act as if he and Brady played together for years, when it was only two. And only one great one.

Revisionist history...... Doing a great job of it.

You seem to forget his week 1 press conference. You know after his 2 TD game vs Cincy, where he pretty much surprised the local media and told them how under appreciated he felt the Pats werent offereing him a new contract, and told them that was his last year. Not to mention the Monday night Miami game where he quit on the team and got in a blow out with Billy O'Brian.

Ohh and about trading Randy for only a 4th. We ONLY gave the Raiders a 4th for him..so there goes that theory.

Agree on everything, he was definitely slowing down in 2009. He still had the ability to catch a long bomb, but you just didn't get that feeling that he could utterly destroy a defense without a second thought like you did in his prime.

Regarding your second paragraph, I feel like that's exact reason why it's unfair to compare him Gronk (besides the fact they play different positions). Moss only played two seasons with Brady at the tail end of his career while Gronk has had Tom since he was a rookie.

Hey keep on using youtube highlight videos to prove your point. We all know youtube tells the whole story!

You wanna talk revisionist history? How about the fact that Randy Moss didn't score 2 td's in week one. Wes Welker did.

You said Moss didn't go over the middle. I posted a ten minute video of Moss going over the middle.

Now you wanna back track "YOUTUBE HIGHLIGHTZ DONT PROVE NUTTIN!!11!111"

Can you actually give any evidence of Randy not going over the middle. And spare me with the old "UMMM USING MY EYEZ!!!1111!!!!" argument, it's ********.

Give me actual evidence.

Apparently teh only opinion here that matters is GLM's

Moss and welker > Gronk and edelmen discussion over close the thread. Moss is best patriot of all time.

But again, I have no problem with people choosing Gronk/Edelman. Personally I'd choose Moss just ever so slightly over Gronk, and I'll take Jules over Wes so I'm personally torn over the topic lol

Herp derp. Boy, sit down.

What video evidence do you need? You think someone making a YouTube video of Moss's failures? If there was sure youd find it since you live off YT and gifs.

The first Pats highlight on that 10 minute clip was the only time i remember him going over the middle in coming traffic.

You know damn well if it was a vertical route, Moss wasnt having it.

Guys, come on. This is all unnecessary. They were all great players and all very different players being used differently in different offenses and also in different points of their careers.

See i hate these discussions cuz im dogging Moss, when i loved him in 2007 and enjoyed every single TD pass he caught. Im out
