Hilarious to read this after the past 365 calendar days. Remember this time last year, writers declaring Brady done, F&M breathlessly discussing whether Garoppolo had to be given a shot, writers asking Belichick whether the QB position 'needs to be evaluated' (LOL!!!)? And it can't go unmentioned, some on here were asking if this was the end of Brady.
Fast-forward a year and it feels so...dirty, so incredibly wrong. If ever the exact opposite of what was being discussed played out, this is it. Brady not only dominated the rest of the regular season, he was a monster in the playoffs, leading two incredibly comebacks and annihilating the Colts, winning SB MVP in the process. In three games this season he's been among the best QB's stat-wise and, given their relative leads in the three games, it's fair to wonder if his numbers wouldn't be even better if they were seriously challenged in any way so far. Not only has he been 'vintage Brady', we might be seeing him at the best he's ever been.
Brady is so very far from being done...and I couldn't be more thrilled about that. Drown out the noise (SAS and the 8 page thread, for example) because the punditry is full of bleating goats who don't know their ass from their face. We're watching the best QB of all time, STILL in his prime, still dominating.
