It's not nonsense, it just me reacting to posters telling me how horrible the Bills have been at finding QBs when your sure fire first ballot QB went 199.

Bledsoe didn't go 199, and Brady went 199, but he went 199 because the Patriots scouted him and wanted him.

Maybe I'm thin skinned, but this nonsense about how the Bills stink at finding a QB while the NE narrative is they knew what they were doing at pick 199 is disingenuous at best and specious at worst.

No..... It's the reality of **** Rehbein, may he R.I.P., who championed the drafting of Brady. And, then, it's the reality of Bill Belichick, who kept Brady on, even though it meant carrying 4 quarterbacks.

The Bills have tried, they have failed. Hopefully they keep trying. And as I said originally, if Taylor can be Dalton level, the Bills will be good. No need to bring past failures at finding a QB to posit that Taylor will suck. He may. But the past choices at QB by Bills management have nothing to do with Taylor now.

Of course they do. They serve as an historical indicator. Taylor may become the exception, finally (he won't), but the past always leads to the present and often foreshadows the future.

This Bills have failed and failed to get a franchise QB.

Also, they had two, and cut them for nothing, while wasting 1st round picks on bums.

I mean, seriously, how many times can you blow a first round pick?

Chad Pennington won playoff games, Mark Sanchez isn't the best, but HE has won playoff games. Would you rather have your glorified RB or Ryan Tannehill right now? You could have traded up a couple of spots. But no, you get Stephon Gilmore (who is, you know, ok at best), and you trade up the NEXT year for EJ Manuel for no reason, and then the year after that, you trade up again for Sammy Watkins - you know, cause you were so good with EJ Manuel, that you benched him, what, 3 games into the season, instead of drafting Teddy Bridgewater or Derek Carr, who you passed on several times with all your awesome trade manuevering.

THAT is Buffalo.

Hell, you lost 3 years of Jim Kelly because you were too cheap to pay him. Because, you know, you were good with Vince Ferragamo.

So blame luck. And when you're done, stare yourself in the mirror, because you're ****ing part of the problem.
Wait, did you just say the Bills traded up for Manuel?

Credibility shot, case closed.

Get a clue then come back to me.

What didn't they know? They scouted him, liked him, and drafted him when he was still available at 199.

He was the 4th QB on the team his rookie year. Why? Because they thought maybe they had something with him. They worked with him, developed him.

Who keeps 4 QBs?

2001, Bledsoe gets hurt, Brady comes in and plays pretty well. Hardly sets the world on fire, but he's got potential. He just needs more coaching, more time in the system, more development.

He got that, and has developed into a Hall of Famer. They did not know they were drafting a hall of famer. They were drafting a kid with potential and a history of winning big games.

That's not ******** luck. That's development and coaching.

******** luck is falling into Doug Flutie when **** gets bad, he gets you to the verge of the playoffs, and then for no reason, you bench him.

******** luck is a multi-time pro bowl QB suddenly becoming available for a first round pick - still with some prime years left. Then, for no reason, you cut him for J.P. Losman.

You can spin your "sleep at night" narrative all you want. It doesn't make you more accurate. It makes you more ridiculous.

The Bills can't draft a QB, can't sign a QB, and when they do, they don't know what to do with him, so they play someone else who sucks. That's the Bills.

Ridiculous.

That's right, that year you traded down, passed on Mingo and Sheldon Richardson, Jarvis Jones, Matt Elam and Giovani Bernard.

It's pretty difficult to keep up on all of Buffalo's ****-ups. Especially when they've become totally irrelevant after 15 years of missing the playoffs.

Because you can't draft a QB, you can't sign a QB, you can't trade for a QB, and when you do, you cut them for no reason to draft ****tier QBs.

I love it.

Talk about credibility shot.

The Buffalo Bills have become the New York Jets. Congrats. When they draft a QB, it's gonna be hysterical.

I and we are extremely blessed...most of us were NOT born and raised in Buffalo and we are NOT Bills fans...THAT is like hitting the blessing lottery.

Dude, you are cooked. You blew it by not knowing your facts.

The pick they got in the Manuel trade down turned into Shady.

It's so easy to have pick 199 turn in to a HOF player and sit there and taunt other teams for missing on a QB.

Keep going, can't wait to see what you dig up next!

How about 23-3, Jack? Spin those numbers, Jills-boy.

No spinning them, those are facts. Again, let's stay focused on my original premise, which was nothing more than if Taylor can be Daltonesque the Bills will be good. Why all the rancor for that statement?

If wishes were horses, everyone would want to ride!

If trade downs were trade ups, TommyD4207 might have an inkling of a semblance of a clue!

Trade for a RB and pay way more, when you already have two pretty good ones.

Genius.

1) You're clearly a child.
2) I would very much like to know why you think your wildcat QB is going to be Andy Dalton.

Tommy...you are guilty of picking on the handicapped...in this case, we'll just have to agree to let you continue....:D

You are trying to convince people that the Bills just need Andy Dalton to be 'good'. Come on..

How did my name end up as the 'tag' of that quote you're responding to? I didn't post that.

I don't care about stickum, Jerry Rice was a great all time WR imo. I don't feel that any of SF SB wins are tainted either.

I certainly do care about stickum, especially when the nitwit taking a shot at the Pats now violated the rule for most of his career.

If there are going to be any tainted SB wins at all, the 49ers are probably at the top of that list. They're definitely ahead of the Pats, and that was before Sticky Rice told the world he was cheating.
