Your bosses are too busy reading Patsfans.com, listening to WEEI, and watching ESPN to worry about your productivity today.

My bosses won't even know NFL exists! UK is getting onto NFL and the games sell out in five mins, but it isn't something everyone talks about!

And Goodell won't be attending Thursday's game...

Shows that a bunch of billionaires have the commitment to objectivity of a bunch of 8th-graders, or that they are ignorant of 8th-grade science. Or, of course, both ...

IIRC, Reiss insinuated exactly this while reporting from the owners meetings a few months ago.

The funny thing is, they might have been right. Winning this case in front of Doty would've been a walk in the park.

But the NFL's case was such garbage that they still lost, and screwed themselves over in a huge way in the process.
Say the NFL finds themselves in a similar quandry in the near future. The NFLPA can now file in front of Berman again whenever they want, and the NFL can't argue it whatsoever because they were the ones who wanted the case to be heard in SDNY here in the first place. It's honestly a thing of beauty.

This is easily fixable by the NFL. They just have to stop running a kangaroo court.

I don't know if berman is going to get every NFL case. the judges are usually randomly assigned. however, this case serves as precedent for the rest of SDNY.

Exactly. The NFL already made its argument to the court why all cases relating to player conduct should be heard in SDNY. And now the NFLPA is free to quote the NFL and **** them with their own words. Because we can be pretty damn sure that Berman is right behind Doty as their favorite judge.

Next time, maybe the NFL will actually fix their process just slightly, so Berman actually needs to rule on Goodell's evident partiality. That would be the last nail in the coffin for his authority under Article 46, I think.

Tom Brady, the GOAT, now has a winning record against 31 teams and the NFL front office!:cool::cool:

That's like saying the Redskins' problems are easily fixable because they just have to stop sucking. Easier said than done, it's a fundamental part of who and what they are.

That fix is anything but easy for the NFL, because it undermines everything that Goodell stands for.

There's no guarantee they get Berman again when they file in NY, just like they didn't get Doty when they tried to move the venue to Minnesota.

They don't have to get Berman again, although they'd certainly like to. This establishes precedent either way.

Other than "Corruption that goes all the way the top", what does Goodell currently stand for? This is a true believing crusader who's been completely corrupted by his own zealousness.
