Robert Griffin III: 'I feel like I'm the best quarterback in the NFL'

I'd take Flacco over Luck at this point.

But your point is well taken.
I wouldn't. Joe just chucks it up and hopes for PI. While luck hasn't consistently shown anything I feel like he has the skills to be a top 10 qb someday. But of course I'm not a pro scout, i just play one on patsfans.com. ;)

Yeah Im much more of a Luck guy. I think if you stick him on NE offence or NO with SP or BB when we where good he would do better than FLacco with those weapons.
Agreed. Part of it is coaching too. No offense to Pagano but he's no Belichick or Payton. I think even Bruce Arians would've been better for Luck, long-term.
That is the thing with Flacco. It seems like he daydreams through the regular season and then wakes up during the playoffs. No Doz Gate?
LOL! That is my point though, it would suck knowing Flacco is just barely going to keep the team's heads above water just enough to secure a Wild Card, and knowing a couple blunders here or there is all it takes to knock the team out of the playoffs. Eli Manning is similar, in that he seems just barely adequate up until he makes a Super Bowl, then he unleashes the dragon. (a.k.a. lucks into wins)
You could argue Flacco is the best playoff QB after Brady (yes including Rodgers). Flacco has only missed the playoffs once. If he could get his team HFA once in a while that would be something. Who knows if Luck will win a SB but it certainly doesn't help playing on a mentally weak ass team.
I'd agree with that. Rodgers really only has the one good run on his resume. If he didn't get hurt last year I think he would've beaten Seattle handily, considering all the mistakes Seattle made that game, but yeah. I think Ben Roethlisberger also has to be in that discussion too. 3 SB appearances, 2 wins, and he's played pretty well mostly in the playoffs IIRC.

Indy is modeling their team off the Peyton glory years, just build to outscore everyone, defense be damned. They also have two aging stars leading the way on this 3 ring circus.

What teams gave the 07 pats fits? Teams with high powered dlines. Hell, every team in our division has a dline, on paper, that has the ability to collapse the pocket and disrupt pass timing. If we can run all over they're defense (did they even address the front 7? Did Irsay get the GM into opiates and crack whores?) how do they stand a chance? I want 600 yards on the ground, and a new scoring, and score differential record. Then I want a team celebration at midfield, pointing at the "participation banner" and checking footballs.

For the 2014 season.

Lucks regular season QB rating. 96.5
Lucks Playoff QB rating..........: 71.8

Flacco regular season QB rating: 91.0
Flacco playoff QB rating ..........: 100.7

Brady regular season rating : 97.4
Brady Playoff QB rating......: 100.4

I live near DC, and I have to listen to the fans make excuses for RG3 all year round. I can't take it any more. They honestly believe he hasn't been given enough of a chance to perform well. 'He needs more time to develop', is what I hear all the time. I hate this town.

3 first round, and a 2nd round pick is what it cost for him ..... You shouldn't feel like you're the best, you should already be the best for that kind of trade.

FWIW, I have no problem with RGIII saying what he said. You can't be a QB in the NFL without an ego. You just can't. The great ones, however, are the ones who suppress it in public and only use it when it's appropriate. TFB, Rogers, even Flacco know this. RGIII, not so much.

But if it helps him make it through each day, then let him have at it. Self-hypnosis might be his only hope at this point.

obviously starts the day with a heaping bowl of THIS............>

Rapistbooger was trash in both SB "wins". The crooked Let's-give-Bettis-a-Ring zebras gave the Stealers his first one, and Warner's 97-yard end-of-half Pick-6 gave him the second one.
Eff the Rapistbooger, eff Lucky Joe Chuck 'n Duck, and eff ShEli the goober brother of the Horse-faced Goober.

Just in case anyone was wondering: (Although you pretty much already knew)

2014

Peyton Regualr season QB rating: 101.5
Peyton Rating for Playoffs...........: 75.5

Brady regular season rating : 97.4
Brady Playoff QB rating......: 100.4
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Roger Goodell ICR (in court rating) 37.7

Brady ICR ...................................: 127.2

Bottom line: Don't mess with the GOAT on or off the field.

This is a consistent problem with with immature QB's like Newton, Flacco, RG3 , and etc.. they talk but cant produce, and always an excuse. Saying something like this when TB, Rogers, Brees, and luck are playing really shows where their head is at, and why they will probably never make it.

Including Flacco in this list is kind of absurd.

Flacco is a Superbowl champion and has like 10 postseason road wins. If there's any QB that could one day threaten Tom's postseason win record, it's probably Flacco. He has produced.

January Joe.

I have Flacco as the #2 QB in the league until Rodgers starts to do some epic **** when it matters.

If he is the best why was he trying to get advice from Brady during the joint practices last year?

Joey Chucknduck is the champion of having football-sized horseshoes and the zebras' PI flags up his ass.

In all fairness he probably felt like he became the best after learning his secrets. He failed to realize he has to apply it on the field though.

I included him because he ran his mouth about being Elite before he was remember, and hes still not Elite. Some of the QB's will make it, but its still pretty immature to say your great before you prove it. At the time Flacco was not even considered to be great when he was saying he was. Kind of makes me wonder if he will ever make it back with that kind of thinking, but I do respect Flacco. He desurves to be on the list, and Flacco would not have won a SB with the 22nd ranked defence no matter how many weapons he had, I think.
