I wonder when they made the request and what they are looking for.

Wells, Kebsil, Blandino other NFL officers involved in the sting, who leaked false info to Mortenson, that the NFL didn't correct, lots of maggots to get at when the rock is turned over.

I REALLY hope this is what's happening, sets the stage for the next phase and even defamation.

Here's Brady arriving at the hearing this morning. That's the Bride of Frankenstein running interference for him (a/k/a NFL Players Association attorney Heather McPhee).

Courts don't go beyond the scope of what is in front of them, so even if they reverse the Brady suspension they won't get into the team penalties, that would only happen if Kraft went to court and he passed.

There is one thing that the NFL has to keep owners in line: if three-fourths of the owners agree, the league can force an owner to sell his/her team.

It wouldn't surprise me if Kraft found out that a Patriots lawsuit against the NFL—given the former's dominance in recent years—might not be welcome by the other owners.

- Brady arrived. Volin claimed he snuck in. Volin was at the wrong door.

- Brady will testify under oath per shefty

- More then 40 people in the room so they moved it to the basement

- NFLPA has ask for discovery documents.

That's about it.
Seriously? Dumbass Volin strikes yet again.

goodell thinks with his heart, not his brain.

Could someone explain what discovery documents would be/mean?

Great lawyer but she looks like a character from a Tim Burton movie. Maybe Mrs Bettleguise or Mrs Edward Sissorhands?

Brady doesn't have standing to sue for any remedy on behalf of the Patriots.

He may not, true. However if the report is found to be invalid, that in itself may be grounds for something. In the legal world, how can a massive penalty be left in place if the tool that justified them is invalidated? This is regardless of Brady can or cannot do anything. Sometimes the system has to help those that otherwise can't (Kraft suing NFL) as an example. Hell, that's what I thought the system was there for in the first place.

Mr. Burton didn't specify, but presumably it means that the NFLPA has asked the NFL for documents that are not currently in the NFLPA's possession. It could be almost anything related to the matter (e.g., e-mails, work product from Exponent, etc.).

Gutless coward will mention how great goodell is during his speech

That's outrageous that 3/4ths of the owners can force a team to sell, but at least 3/4ths can't force a team to fire their HOF HC or cut their HOF QB.

@AdamSchefter: Defense team of Tom Brady was given 4 hours today to present its entire case. Proceedings expected to wrap today, not continue Thursday.

Keep leaking info to your lapdog, NFL

They are asking for the ability to see internal docs associated with the investigation and the ability to question people for the record.

Very Big Deal or BFD.

It can be left in place because Kraft never bothered to challenge it.

He may be dumb but what he is currently engaged in is malicious. I have kept my mouth shut about him to this point but no longer, he has no business reporting on this team, period. He has entered Tomase territory with his lies.

@AdamSchefter: Patriots owner Robert Kraft, now out of country, wrote an affidavit to be introduced into today's appeal, supporting Tom Brady's character.

What a show of support1!1!1!1!1!1
And also an affidavit for Goodell's character.
