I like both picks myself. Just going to copy what I wrote in a thread in the main forum about Lynch.

RB's have the shortest career span and they get hurt easily. We're already going to a zone blocking scheme to accomodate one RB, so here's another one who projects to flourish in the same system. We can't bring a smashmouth type runner (Dillon) and Morris is no sure thing. I have don't have a problem with taking Lynch if he's there. I'd rather take a RB early than a WR. It's an issue of depth.

I'm not as sure about McCauley though. With Chris Houston going to NO right above us, the other 1st/early 2nd DB's avaliable are Hughes, Meriweather, and Griffin. I think the transition would be easier for McCauley out of that group because of the coaching familiarity. I would go for a CB over a S right now due to the unfortunate situation with Samuel.

Are we allowing the Fins to change their QB picked? Maybe (not likely) somebody else would have taken Stanton? Are we worried about precedence? Next time it might have a greater impact? Any thoughts?

Stanton has a big league arm, but as far as my information tells me, Kolb is the guy the Fins covet. Had to go with him for realism. Stanton has a great arm but questionmarks about toughness under pressure. If anyone vehemently objects to the Fins taking Kolb instead of Stanton, just let it be known. So we are only going through 3 rounds right?

Stanton has a great arm but questionmarks about toughness under pressure. If anyone vehemently objects to the Fins taking Kolb instead of Stanton, just let it be known. True. This calls for a commisioner ruling. Considering we hadn't gotten into the 3rd round yet I think the disturbance if any is pretty minimal. I'm also pretty certain Kolb would have made it to my 3rd round pick because there is very little buzz on him. But then you guys picked Stanton for me and forced my hand. It's not like I was going to draft 2 QBs.... I doubt the Fins are going back to the 2 QB college set anytime soon.

You waited to long. If you had shown up within a few minutes of the already set deadline I would have let you make the selection, but you didn't. I put the pick up to vote for an hour period past your deadline, and I didn't hear anything from you, so the consensus pick was made. Also, it could effect the picks after your's if I allowed you to change it now. Sorry, but I have to say know in order to be fair to the other GM's involved.

I just want to remind people that I will be gone for part of the day tomorrow, so if any deadlines pass while I'm gone someone will have to put the pick to vote, for me. I might not miss any of the deadlines, but I can't guarantee I'll be back before 12N-2PM EST.
