Clint Eastwood contacted Bill Belichick to see if he wanted to take the Patriots to "American Sniper

"American Sniper" looks from the previews like it would be stressful to sit through. But, you can't turn down a personal invite from Clint F*cking Eastwood.

Deadliest man in US history with confirmed kills. Pretty insane...but you can't turn that down from Mr.Eastwood.

Gran Torino was a little too heavy handed in the message it was trying to send. Whatever it was.

Better than all these Hallmark Christmas romance movies my wife is watching

That frigin channel almost killed me for the last month, I got my wife and three girls. Lord just strike me down.

Sat in the basement and watched every war movie and three games to glory I could, band of brother my favorite.

Ya the message was hammered a lot..but still a great movie IMO and i want that car so bad

Anyone else had their wives/GFs sucker them into watching, Bridges of Madison County?

"Honey..you'll like it. Its a Clint Eastwood movie.".

Mrs Robertweathers pulled a fast one.

Good movie but once was enough.

"Oh, this thread has so much potential!", he said to himself while savoring the thought before diving in... punk! :D

in a related story, I, Joe Kerr the Indecipherable, have come up with a NEW word for 2015 to enrich the English vocabulary...PONK....

Ponk is defined as the result of a punk picking a fight with the Gronk...

"yo' dude...you just got PONKED!.."

No one is above Clint, IMHO, when it comes to the number of entertaining movies acted in/directing by. A number of great films have already been mentioned by other posters yet the list goes on: Was the awesome Unforgiven mentioned? High Plains Drifter, Outlaw Josey Wales, Hang 'Em High ("when you hang a man you better look at his face"). Beyond the original Dirty Harry (great flick) there was the very good Magnum Force ("a good man always knows his limitations"). Others are Thunderbolt and Lightfoot (scene in the car with the Rabbits), Play Misty for Me, Letters from Iwo Jima, Firefox, Pale Rider, Beguiled (pass on the mushrooms!).....I also liked Escape from Alcatraz (for what it was). I'm sure I'm missing others.

Also, to another point, a good war movie done well is always, IMHO, a good film to watch. "Compared to war, all other forms of human endeavor shrink to insignificance". I think it's an appropriate genre for an NFL football team to watch together. Plus I just can't see BB and the Patriots getyting together to go see the Hunger Games, a Jennifer Aniston Movie, the 40 Year Old Virgin, or something similar to Downtown Abbey.

And I get how everyone has their own taste.. but it boggles my mind that Unforgiven is not everyone's favorite movie. :)

Not my absolute favorite but you're right, the Unforgiven is an utterly and thoroughly excellent movie....... "don't go cuttin' up... nor otherwise harm no wh0res, or I'll come back and kill every one of you sons-a-b!tches"

Rowdy Yates....genesis, you shallow ,pathetically underinformed, misanthropic slackers!
