If that happens who takes over as our OC or who do we want?

Jets.I hope not. I really don't want to lose McDaniels. The first move he would have to make, if he did go there, is replacing Kaepernick. I'm not exactly sure how he would go about that, given Kaepernick's contract. After the year Kaepernick has had, I highly doubt they would find a trade partner.
He'd do well in Atlanta if he gets a decent DC and commits resources to rebuilding that d. I think he'd mess his pants day dreaming about that group of receivers.Since he's a top tier OC, I hope he sticks around. Also, given what he had to deal with in both Denver and St. Louis, I think he'll be very cautious about the QB situation of any team that talks to him about a job.

I wouldn't want the San Fran job. He is stuck with Kaepernick.
Then who would we blame when things don't go perfect on offense?
I don't think Atlanta has a GM for next year. It's hard to see how Dimitroff keeps his job after the way that team has collapsed. But, I guess stranger things have happened.

I agree with you. However, apparently the Falcons still consider his Julio Jones trade as a gamble that worked out and not as the disaster that send the organization into the downward spiral the last two years.
Love it. Dump Brady..Trade for cutler and have him back up Geno...BOOM
That's not the way it works. Lot of things can change in 4-5 years. That would be a bad decision by the Patriots and a bad decision by McDaniels.I'm going to assume that means that McDaniels is the guy the 49ers would want most.
If McDaniels is smart, he'll wait until Belichick retires and take over the NEP.
Why wouldn't they?
I dont know if he wants to wait that long for his next head coaching jobI'm going to assume that means that McDaniels is the guy the 49ers would want most.

Josh for being a pass happy mercenary prick, leaving us in limbo, again. Then who would we blame when things don't go perfect on offense?
Because their team collapsed under the missing depth in key positions. I wonder if a handful of draft picks might have been able to provide just that.
But it doesn't matter, you have obviously your opinion and I have mine about giving away an entire draft.
