Talib was great in a handful of games last year, pretty good in most of the rest, got DESTROYED by Steve Smith, and was out at crunch time.
Why are people talking like we had Deion back there?
I would say that is the main reason I prefer Revis over Talib. Revis has always been a chameleon who can be stuck on anyone with success, whether it is a big, physical receiver like Brandon Marshall or Calvin Johnson or a shifty guy like Welker. Talib is just as good at Revis against the bigger, traditional outside wide receivers and even tight ends like Jimmy Graham, but at you pointed out, he got burned by Steve Smith and Josh Gordon, who, while big, is also very quick and was lined up on the inside a lot.
