There are going to be a series of Roster moves today. The 1 week exemptions for Browner and Tyms are up. That, and the Pats supposedly told KT they want to re-sign him if he wasn't claimed off waivers.

It's going to be interesting to see what happens. Especially with the injuries that have happened.
Dinged up currently:
Revis - Hamstring
Amendola - Hamstring
Hightower - Knee
Easley - Shoulder
Chandler Jones - Shoulder
Fleming - Finger
Ebner - Finger

Ebner's absence was very noticeable on Special Teams, particularly punt coverage.
Though Bolden made a good play to knock the ball out of Tate's hand. The previous kick-off, he took out one of our own players.

I have to say that Arrington and Chung have both really stepped up.. I am very surprised that Chung is playing as well as he is.. I didn't think he's make the team, but he's made it and forced himself back into the starting rotation at safety..

Wendell played extremely well at guard last night. He even picked up a stunt from the LDE.. I was shocked..

I agree, will be very interesting to see what happens today, when is the deadline for these...4ET?

At this point, Josh Klien may be waived. He hasn't been activated once this season and they look to have solidified the starters on the o-line (I think he was being kept for insurance).

Well by 4pm, the have to activate/cut Browner and Tyms, plus they will know by then if KT cleared waivers.

Could this be the end of the double Rutgers mistakes? I doubt both Ryan and Harmon survive. I think Harmon is a core STer, so cutting Ryan to open up Browner spot makes sense. I don't know if Tyms gets a roster spot or not. Right now they have one opening on the PS.

Even thought Bolden forced that turnover yesterday and has a role in ST he's been playing RB like garbage. I think we invested a high draft pick in James White so I'd rather see him taking a few snaps once in a while.

I hope they give chance to Tims and if there were questions about Browner, with Revis and Dennard banged up there is no more, he will be activated for sure.

Umm.. Pats have 9 O-line on the Roster. It's unlikely that Kline is waived. The only time they went with 8 is when they didn't have enough OTs...

I think it's more likely that someone like Don Jones, Tavon Wilson, Brandon Bolden, or even Hoomanawanui are cut than Kline..

McCourty has a broken rib or two or at the very least badly bruised ribs. Only reason I can think of why he was held out the rest of the game after going out.

Teams, including the Patriots, go with 8 OL all the time.

Wrong. The Pats have never gone with 8 linemen except the time when the Pats had already lost 2 OT to injury.. Look it up..

Damn.. totally forgot about McCourty's ribs.. I will say that I was surprised that Harmon wasn't tested more after McCourty went out..

Other teams might, but the Patriots have never had less then 9 in the 14 years Belichick has been here. In addition, I think Belichick likes all the OL either for current or future reasons.

At a bare minimum, I think that Bolden is probably being looked at almost solely as a ST contributor. He's the fourth best RB on the roster, which makes him at best decent injury insurance. That gives him more non-ST value than, say, Slater (who, to be clear, absolutely is not under any circumstances being cut), and a bit less than someone like Ebner. He could be a candidate to be cut if the Pats feel that he's not offering a whole lot of ST value.

Any possibility of Amendola to IR now with his injury? Seems pretty doubtful but it's a possibility I guess. I'm thinking Butler gets cut loose for Browner and they try to stash him on the PS, Skinner is cut for Tyms and then maybe Amendola IR'ed for Thompkins?

James White had a vague tweet that some think might indicate a move there. That would surprise me, though. He hasn't played or even been active much, but he's only an injury away.

Definitely some twitter buzz about that. White's tweet was eerily similar to a tweet from KT the day he was released. We'll know soon enough.

Amendola continues to take up a roster spot and be invisible on the field.

Tavon Wilson as well.

Didn't the Pats open last year with 8 linemen? I recall Solder, Vollmer, Cannon and Svitek at tackle plus Mankins, Connolly, Wendell and Kline at guard. Am I missing someone?
