Are you going to answer the question or just continue to take issue with my decision without offering your own? If you had to cut one of the veteran receiver – Edelman, Amendola, or LaFell who would it be?

It is a simple question, do not tell me we need more information, the players all have at least 4 years of NFL experience so you can make a determination right now. So, either do it or stop knocking my opinion because at least I have the fortitude to have one.

It was crystal clear who the decision would be. You couldn't figure it out?

Of course I can. Your position is like saying that I can't discredit a theory unless I have an alternate theory of my own. That's patently untrue. In this case, you're making claims based upon nothing substantial, and you're doing it even before the underwear portion of the offseason is finished, and while Amendola is being spotlighted as being in sync with Brady.

Wisdom/reason/rational approach

Pick any one of the above
You can do whatever you want but is a weak stance to take. Shoot down ones person’s opinion without putting your own out there for the same scrutiny. Secondly, you have not really done anything to discredit what I said that Amendola is the most at risk out of Edelman, Amendola, and LaFell.

So I ask the question directly – if you had to release one of either Edelman, Amendola, or LaFell who would you release today? You can change your mind in the future but I am talking about right now, you have to make a decision who goes?

Just say the player’s name, stop side stepping the question. Amendola, LaFell, or Edelman one has to go, who would it be?

Tell me in your real life do you tell people they are wrong and then when they ask what you think is right do you runaway or side step having to answer or is that just another part of your internet persona?

I am curious. Do you have a real life?

I just checked my pulse I am alive so it appears I do in fact have a life.

Any way are you going to answer the question? Do you need me to repeat it – who would you cut Amendola, Edelman, or LaFell if you had to pick one?

LaFell

And BTW being alive and having a life are two different things. I will be happy to explain/debate that with you as well.

My best friend is named Bruins29 we talk all the time, he is my life.

Anyway why would you pick LaFell? I picked Amendola because he is older, has played in only 50% of his games over the past 3 years, and would be more expensive to retain over the next 3 years.

I picked the guy who costs less to get rid of, has a lot less chemistry with Brady, has not proven himself in this system and is clearly statistically not as good a player.

It was a layup.

yep...the easy layup. when I played B-ball we used to call it a bunny....and...speaking of bunny, I think it's time we read this little bunny poem....

ODE TO A BUNNY...

Oh little bunny, so fair
You’d best go back into your lair
Mr McGregor, we don’t have
Instead, we’ve Mr Lar
A nice guy, our Mr Lar,
A sunny disposition he does bear
But tiny nibbles on his beans
Brings out Mr Mean

Mr McGregor chased with hoe,
Peter Rabbit, through the rows
Mr Lar, not fond of chasing, a little more direct
It’s target practice, he’ll elect
You are cute and cuddly
It’s true – we can’t deny it
But get in Larry’s garden again
And you are going to buy it

wow...look at that...you get the whole kaleidoscope of malaprops from "owed" to "gun hoe". Truly special, Ed....:D

I hope someone is there to rebound. Ok first if a player has more yards and touchdowns in 4 NFL seasons than the player with 6 NFL season he is not statically a better player. You do realize that Amendola has the lowest YPC average of any wide receiver with 100+ career catches in the last 25 year, right. He averages 1.8 touchdowns per season and less than 500 yards per season in his career.

Second Amendola, had 1 target resulting in 1 drop in the most important game of the season, Brady targeted him 12 times in the final 4 games of the season. The chemistry is not that good between the two.

As far as the cost goes, you save minimal money this year to get rid of him and then you pay significantly more in the next 3 seasons for Amendola.

It is not a layup, as I said originally I appreciate your response but you are way off, Amendola is not the player you think he is. You think he can be like Welker, because he can, for 3-4 games a year Amendola can do what Welker did but he cannot do it in 16 games and that is what made Welker great.

Why does every topic you get involved in somehow end up being about Danny Amendola? How did I get sucked into this?

Well because I discuss the wide receivers and I mention the name Amendola and your pager goes off and then you just show up and take issue with whatever I said about him.

At the end of the day I think Amendola sucks. I am not a fan of him at all in fact, he is actually the only Patriots that I would be happy to see be released. How else can I say it I hate him as a player. That is the whole story, I am not going to change my view. Every time we talk about receivers I'm going to advocate against Amendola and for any of the others. I will never say anything good about him.

So now you know where I stand if you or anyone else wish to fight me on my opinion of Amendola then I will continue to explain the reasons I think so lowly of him. Knowing that why don't we just accept that I do not like him and not make this a long painful season of us arguing about him.
