At the end of the day the biggest advantage the Patriots have over Denver is Brady does not take the field on a weekly basis with the possibility of his head falling off his shoulders. Manning is one hit away from game over and Elway has added everything but an offensive lineman this offseason.

I do. His feet aren't held together by duck tape. I've heard people question Lafell's hands, but I've seen Sanders make plenty of mistakes at crucial times in games.

Before last season, I would say no. After last season, I would say yes. He also fits a need that the Pats have more - a red zone threat. And I read his drop problems are overrated and he was 26th in the league in drop percentage.

I think that is very hopeful, Thomas is the probably the second best WR in the NFL right now behind Calvin Johnson. Dobson will be a good player in my opinion but Thomas is a once in a generation type talent. I would be fine with both of them on the team though

I'm totally fine with bringing in LaFell AND adding Kenny Britt as well.

I know many here think our WR corps is fine, but I never came close to agreeing. They definitely needed upgrading in my opinion, even if that means a guy like LaFell, and low risk guy like Britt.

Sanders would have done fine as well, and offers YAC potential, but has some injury concerns. I'd still much rather have him go somewhere else than DEN.

Demaryius Thomas is going to be the Patriots revenge for Welker and Talib.

Talib's inopportune hip issues and eventual cap hit are going to be the Pats revenge for Welker and Talib .

Demarius Thomas is pretty damn good.

He's probably not "the 2nd best WR in the league," but there's a big cluster from slots 3-5. He's definitely top 5.

If the Patriots sign LaFell, he will probably have a few annoying drops. He does that. He also scores as often as Edelman. I have read Ron Rivera being quoted as saying that LaFell was the best blocker of all the WRs on the Panthers too. Sounds good to me.

I like Fitzgerald and he is one of the best of his era but he has not had a thousand yard season since 2011 and is soon to be 31. He has a lot of miles at age 31 as well having played 10 seasons and 156 regular season games.

Looking at their overall talent and body of work, it'd be hard for me to choose anyone outside of Larry Fitzgerald, and if I did it would be Andre Johnson.

AJ Green, Brandon Marshall, and Julio Jones are great, but I think it becomes pretty blurry when you include D.Thomas. I think numbers 3-5 are all about even, which makes your statement fine to me. That's why I pretty much agreed with it.
