I had the same thought, but this offense is different from the offense that Deion played in. VERY Different. I doubt it will make a difference. It wouldn't surprise me if he isn't even active.

This O is different (I'll take your words for it) - Branch has NOTHING physically left - therefore, I conclude they want Brady info - tendencies, reads, etc. I don't see much value in it.

That sounds abt right. DHB runs a 4.2 forty and Deion.....well Deion runs about a 6.0 forty.

This is hilarious. Why not sign Tebow while you're at...you know, for QB depth.

Which is funny, because I can't think of two more polar opposite receivers. Bey is lightning quick with a limited route tree and stone hands. Branch is slow as molasses (at his current age) but known for smart routes and solid hands.

So they replaced a guy who sucks with a guy who is done. DHB is a back up. Branch will be a back up. They need to get guys on the roster. DHB lost his starting job to Rogers.

Heyward-Bey is nothing special, but man the Colts are really thin at skill positions - take away Hilton and they have to beat you with the mediocre Donnie Brown (who has had a renaissance of sorts in the last few games this season), the plainly average Coby Fleener, the plodding Trent Richardson, the freakish but incredibly raw Da'Rick Rogers, and a handful of other guys who aren't scaring anyone like Lavon Brazill and Griff Whelan, and now Deion Branch who I think qualified for AARP two seasons ago.
