Thanksgiving games thread: GB-Detroit, Cowboys-Raiders, Ravens-Steelers

Who do you guys want to win? I'm leaning towards Baltimore so we don't get flexed out of sunday night and can knock them out of the playoffs. Plus, don't want ben to get 3 rings(not that they are going to this year).

NFL needs to do a better job at spreading around the thanksgiving late game. Baltimore and jersey have already hosted it twice. Need to bring it to foxborough at some point, too perfect to have the patriots host one. Although playing on thanksgiving twice over past few years probably hurts our chances.

I vote for a tie :bricks:

It's Clete Blakeman's crew officiating, "hug" away Steelers and Ravens...especially in the endzone...

first thing is first...they need to dump detroit playing

Torrey Smith might break records if the Steelers leave Ike Taylor on him...

Pittsburgh. I want Baltimore out of the playoff race ASAP so they have nothing to fight for against New England. I also would like to see the game flexed out of Sunday night -- better for the Pats.

I definitely want the Steelers to win. Out of these two teams, i'd be more worried about the Ravens in the playoffs. We would destroy the Steelers at home.

Be careful Sanders, need you to be 100% when you sign with the Patriots this offseason :rocker:

At this point, I'd rather re-sign Edelbeast and use that money elsewhere.

After every play there's a scrum of some sorts. This is what rivalry football looks like. Those other two games were snoozefests.

There is no chance, however, of this game topping last year's, since Wacko and Worthlessburglar aren't stupid enough to buttfumble.

They're both non-elite, but not down in Sanchez/Smith territory.

Nothing will ever top the Buttfumble game.

That was, perhaps, the most enjoyable regular season football game I've ever witnessed. :D

They have a loser's mentality. They get a lead and relax. Then they get behind and accept it as what's expected to happen. Over the last 10 seasons the Raiders have averaged just under five wins (49-111). So far this year they're 4-8 including today's loss.

Absolutely! You could see them saying to themselves: well, we've kept it close enough, not a blow-out, it is what it is ... no sense that this was the time that they needed to put everything they had into every play. Even the Rats have a certain insane optimism that keeps them going.

Don't overlook the fact that Holmes is only playing because Denarius Moore is out and his so is his backup. Along with that, the Cowboys secondary is easily one of the most burnable in the NFL. It's not hard to look good against terrible competition.

Holmes is still who he was with the Patriots; a height/weight/speed freak, but not much else. Or in other words, he still sucks.

Regardless of who was out, he made some great catches, some of them our current receivers might not be able to catch. So you're telling me height/weight/speed freak is a BAD thing ?

You forget, they still have to get a rapport with Tom and learn the playbook. Your physical skills don't get you by in NE.

No, what I'm telling you is, despite all of his physical gifts, he's a terrible receiver.

There's a reason why he's fifth on the depth chart on a talentless Raiders WR corps of all teams, and it's because he blows. One game does not a great player make.

I hate that ref so much.
