Dear Jets Fans: It's True - - We Pity You

It was funny watching Brady try to eat that drumstick. He appeared to want to lose that thing as quickly as he possibly could.

"The hell with this peasant crud. Get me home to supermodels and caviar." :)

I see a repeat of the Steelers game over under on how many TDs that kid gives up.

Eff the JESTS. The only thing they seem to have been able to accomplish is to put the FUN back in dysFUNctional.

Let us never forget that they also put the butt in BUTTfumble. :D

You have to look at the concept of sports fandom karma with logic though.

EVERY team has fans who root for injuries, make bold predictions, and utter gems of stupidity. So who does karma decide to strike?

Somewhere there is a Jet fan (hundreds I am sure) hoping for Brady to get crippled in the game. Karma will want them to, I imagine.

Conclusion: Enjoy laughing at the Jets while we can!

I don't believe in it, personally. There does seem to be a good and generous portion of this fanbase that talk openly about karma, specifically in regard to threads like this. Hopefully the Pats win on Sunday because, if not, shmessy will probably have to come back and close it due to the Jets trolls.

Good thread but how could shmessy leave out the infamous Frank Moga :confused4:

:D The man is so photogenic.

That is one ugly MoFo! You'd think he would paint his face...

Either that, or just smash it several times with his fist.

By the look of his jaw line, which indicates a lack of teeth. I would dare to say someone has already assisted him in doing so.

Either that, kontra, or after a loss the non-believers will become believers and form into an angry mob with torches and pitchforks looking for shmessy to account for his causing the loss by upsetting the cosmic balance. It's the only reasonable conclusion after such a loss.:)

Screw them. If they weren't the most arrogant group of neanderthals, I might pity them. Check out Jets Insider and a large number of the posters show their single digit IQs and lack of respect for anyone including themselves.

The only people I pity is their kids and future kids because they are doomed to be poisoned with their parents' BS and a life of suffering of being a Jets fan.

I'd stopped over there this week and it really is a sad human experiment. 10K posts about injuring Brady and Gronk. Such bravado coming from internet tough guys.

It's hilarious that you worry about "Karma" from a fan website post - - and are perfectly OK with the rookie DE of the Jets spouting off in the public media.

Methinks your views of perspective levels may be off a bit.

In the event that the Patriots get upset, don't worry - - we take care of trolls all the time. It's no problem.

That's no biggy. Around here that is called "Tuesday".

Is that you, shmess? You may want to try reading my posts from start to finish and realize that I'm poking fun at the "karma" people.

Also, please find the post where I forgive the Jets rookie for spouting off in the public media.

I named one of my Fantasy teams the Goatsie's a couple of years ago. :D

Did you lose to the Tubgirls in the championship?

Over the years as you witness the dysfunction that is the Jets, you appreciate how lucky we've been as Patriots fans.

I'm sure there are those who believe in karma that are cringing at this as we speak.

While I know what you mean (especially given an injury report that belies the Patriots 5-1 record, and may mean they're closer to parity with the Jets than we'd like to believe) the reality is that Jets fans, players and coaches continue to invoke the bad karma in their delusional, bombastic and obnoxious attitude that belies decades of epic failure as an organization.

I WOULD have pity if they showed some humility. (For example I sympathize with humble Cubs fans and hope they are rewarded someday soon)

For the Jets we're constantly barraged by a head coach and players who are constantly acting as if they're perennial Super Bowl contenders - even boldly predicting Super Bowl titles in the recent past. Twice. :wha:

The reality is, the last time the Jets were in a Super Bowl, man had yet to walk on the moon.

The reality is the New York Jets have yet to surpass the Houston Oilers in AFC East division titles.

As long as their fans, players, coaches and owner continue to conduct themselves the way they have for so long, I expect their record of "success" will continue.

Who are these "Karma people" and why are obsessed with them?
