The Official Patriots vs Jets POST Game Thread

Loved the defense’s attitude. Can’t stand Brady right now. Prima donna to the max. I would have loved if someone asked him what his role and responsibility is for brining alone the kids.

Tom Brady please grow up and act like a man. This is embarrassing. Oh and by the way your team just beat the JETS.

Jones hit him clean.
From memory if may have been #99 Michael Buchanan coming in after Jones who looked like he got Smith high and from behind.

Thank goodness Geno decided to follow in Sanchez' footsteps and focused on throwing the ball to the other team more than to his teammates.

Are the Jets drafting color blind QBs?

other thoughts:
mangold can go eat a giant turd

still not sure about that chandler jones roughing penalty, only saw 1 replay, but initially looked like helmet to chest

brady's TD streak barely survives

The Jones Roughing the Passer call was BS. The only reason his helmet hit Smith's chin was because of the 2nd Patriot in the act of hitting Smith..

And thank you to the jets' coaching staff. How can they not double and triple cover Edelman?

1 Thompkins improved. He was Dobson last game.
2 Arrington has been lights out 2 games in a row.
3 Brady never threw a ball to a TE.
4 Mcourty played very well.
5 The lack of the NE passing game helped the Jets shut down the run.
6 The playcalling found a way to get Edelman open.
7 Rex is dooshbag.
8 I was surprised that Brady still threw to Dobson even though he was in left field all night.

I was waiting for Troy Brown to come running up and strip him.

It did look like he was going to just fall down for a second there. Like his body knew the right thing to do before his brain had time to overrule it.

He was enticed by the opportunity to try and run it back for a TD, I think.

I actually think he lucked out there on the Mangold hit. That looked as though it could have turned out pretty badly in many instances.

Whatever the reason is, it was a dumb move by Talib not to just go down or run out of bounds. Would be extremely depressing to lose a game like that on a fumble.

Agreed. He should have been sure about the clock/TO situation, and known that going down was a win.

Iam worried he maybe better than sanchez.

There was an element of headbutt to the chin. Call looked right to me on TV. If for any reason it was actually wrong, it was at least an excusable referee error.

I think the refs called it on the wrong guy, someone else (I forget who) hit him helmet to helmet

I can't remember being this pissed off after a win. My blood is still boiling.

Missing three of our biggest weapons and we still should have blown them out.

The end was just disgusting.

Hey Jets! Detroit just called, they want to thank you for making them look good. Or at least better.

Oops, I missed the even douchier Albert Breer Tweet:

https://twitter.com/AlbertBreer/status/378365015595560960

Does that mean any of us at any time can take a cheap shot at Breer and just claim "Eye for an eye, I guess"?

The funny thing is people are calling him out on this and he's saying, well, stuff like this:

Albert Breer ‏@AlbertBreer 27m
For the last time -- I never said it did. RT @Drtywater @AlbertBreer Missing the point, dancing doesn't equal target leg injury.

Um, "an eye for an eye" -- sounds to me like you did.

Really. One or two drops, maybe. He had all the right in world to blow a gasket. And BTW, it wasn't as bad as the mediots are making it out to be. He is VERY competitive. And I'm sure he doesn't give a 5h!t what anyone thinks. And judging by BBs presser , either does he

I will give these rookies a mulligan. I mean, even Gronk and Hernandez had awful games in their rookie season.

Belichick has always known. We had a fine set of safeties once McCourty moved over last year.

Posters don't like Gregory. Many, many had hum not making the 53.

When the hell did Gregory actually get good? I think this was easily the fewest bad plays he's ever had in a game with the Pats.

Let's give Brady the benefit of the doubt.

How do you know they haven't ran certain routes in practice now for weeks at a time?

I'm actually glad he's a fiery leader. It may be the difference between a wasted season of growing pains and going deep into the playoffs.
