Does Wes Welker play for the Patriots in 2013?
I hope he does, but I have this sinking feeling that the two sides won't come to an agreement. And I don't think the Pats franchise him at $11M.
I think welker stays even though his big payday might not happen this year. Come on would you rather play with tommy for a few million less and a greater chance for a ring than some other rival????
I wish people would keep me informed. I thought the next Welker thread wasn't due until Tuesday, to be followed by the regular Friday thread.

Ty Law,Deion Branch and Seymour were in their primes when they left...the front office does not care who you are,if you are a problem regarding cap space and refuse to adapt to it...you are gone.
No player in NE is worth sacrificing the near future and Welker despite being a star player is no exception, you accept the offer or see ya bye bye.
Welker could be added to that group by summer
No he wont play for the Pats this upcoming season. He will cost to much, paying him means we lose Seabass which i dont see happening cause BB wants to keep Brady on the field and losing seabass will be to huge. Plus butterfingers magoo cost us 2 playoff games. Margarine is easy to replace he is a system wr. You really want Cannon as your starting RT?????No thanks. Sign Seabass a deep threat and a corner. Wes Welker is not needed to win a Superbowl CLEARLY
Per @adamschefter Welker was seen with 2 new tattoos on his hands "Slippery when" on his left hand and " in the playoffs" on his right #noneedforsystemwr #bigneedfordeepthreat #unbanmymainaccount #PoWw
