Re: Divisional Round Breakdown: Packers at 49ers

I am not sure the 49ers OLine play is as significant is GB's inability to stop this read option. They are back on their heels and showing an Olineman guys that are back on their heels is like showing red meat to a lion.

Kaps is so quick to the corner.

Teams can only do this stuff with a very physical running QB though. As soon as somebody cleans Kaps clock that will be the end of that. Likely won't happen this year but there is not a QB alive that can survive long running the ball much. Just won't happen. Couple of leg injuries slows the QB down and then he is meat on a hook. Plus a better defense would make it tougher on Kaps.

Re: Divisional Round Breakdown: Packers at 49ers

We've had 142 points scored today, that's 35.5 per team lol

And it may go up here.

Re: Divisional Round Breakdown: Packers at 49ers

looks like i'm 0 for 2 in picks today...hope tomorrow goes a lot better especially my 430 game pick

Re: Divisional Round Breakdown: Packers at 49ers

Aaron Rodgers said 49ers not drafting him was a big mistake. I think the 49ers disagree...

I love seeing the arrogant packers lose. Kept saying they beat themselves and not giving credit to the giants and the 49ers. They gonna come out say they beat themselves again this time?

really stupid outcome. Cap the defenise cordinater lost this game. But good outcome for NE.

This game is really just showing everybody how weak GB really is this year. They are Rogers and a bunch of also rans...alligator armed receivers all over the place. Must be very frustrating for Rogers. There is nothing around him this year.

Agreed -- they could still have lost, but not to make earlier, better preparations and adjustments for the scrambling quarterback was baffling.

good for NE? I rather NE play the Packers than the Niners

Re: Divisional Round Breakdown: Packers at 49ers

The two All Pro QBs can go enjoy being all-pros in Hawaii. :D

Re: Divisional Round Breakdown: Packers at 49ers

Either GB sucks or SF is getting better. They look impressive - especially the rookie QB.

Re: Divisional Round Breakdown: Packers at 49ers

Brady's the last elite QB left. Hope he has better fate than these 2.

No you dont. BB can stop kaepernick easy, rogers is a bit harder with their amazon recievers. No you dont want GB. You just got a gift like your SB vs Carolina panthers accept it. SF is going no where. We toasted ther D 2x , and you can to.

Don't agree with you on either count:

- SF was the better team. More physical, more balanced. Vastly superior D. Capers made it easy for them, but I think they were just the better team, and would have won. Should have won.

- Not necessarily a good outcome for NE, though it's irrelevant right now. And if Seattle beats Atlanta I still think they will beat SF. But I've said SF and Seattle are the two best teams in the NFC for months now, as I've said the Pats and Houston are the two best teams in the AFC.

People need to stop calling him a rookie. He's not. He's a first year starter.

Peyton's footsteps.

See, this thing Brady's done for so long? It's not that easy.

Re: Divisional Round Breakdown: Packers at 49ers

I hope people were watching what happens when you send guys up field disregarding gap assignments on defense against a heavy rushing offense.

I will - now that I know.

I hope you're right, if we both get there...
