You're on the roster for that reason, do your job.
Even if it is the Jets, they've done nothing wrong here.
Calling all rump-swab apologists.Agree. He is being paid to do what he is asked to do. Of course people will side with "Cant blame tebow" excuses.
I'll bet he used that middle finger to sign his paycheck, also. He gets paid to play. So, when he doesn't play he wants to and when he's directed to, he refuses. Which is it?He is a good dude that doesn't mean he should continue taking that crap from this team. Good for him and it's about damn time.
They didn't introduce him to the team without any officials from the organization.
Coach kept referring to him as a football player from the first day and offered no real support.
He gained weight, played punt returner, tight end whatever they wanted and kept his mouth shut.
Anonymous quotes from the lockeroom badmouthing him.
Then despite the worst quarterback play I have ever seen he gets passed over for the starting position and he's supposed to run the Wildcard to help the 3rd string QB when he wasn't even given a shot?
Everyone knows Tebow went there cause he thought he'd get a shot. He didn't go to the Jets to just run the Wildcat and play punt protector for them. They destroyed whatever good image and value he had prior to him getting there.
I hope he raised his middle finger too.
Football players play football. If reported as true, Tebow clearly thinks he's bigger than the team. It shouldn't surprise anyone apart from the Tebow apologists. He is a good dude that doesn't mean he should continue taking that crap from this team. Good for him and it's about damn time.

In the postgame news conference, Tebow was asked who told him he wouldn't be playing in the Wildcat and Tebow responded, "It just kind of happens."
Ryan said during his news conference that they wanted to use Kerley because of the element of surprise. Afterward Ryan, through a team spokesman, said it was a "coach's decision" when asked specifically if Tebow had opted out.

I've no sympathy for the media circus that accompanies Tebow. He's carefully cultivated his brand since his college days making damn well sure we all know about it.Well first everyone needs to keep in mind that these are just more "sources".
But even if true, you need to look at the bigger picture. Football players are also working for a living and their value is important. And this team pretty much destroyed that without him really doing anything at all.
He is a quarterback and wants to play quarterback. He was sold a bill of goods. He only agreed to doing everything that was asked of him because he was promised a shot. He fulfilled his end of the bargain. They didn't. Screw the Jets.

If Tebow asked to be removed from a package which he should excel in then there is a serious attitude problem there. Wouldn't you kill to get on the field at every opportunity to showcase your performance for the next team?

For most people, life rarely walks to the beat of one drum presenting itself with a tune you're happy to hear every day.I keep hearing this media circus. What media circus? Popular quarterbacks get lots of coverage? What is it that bothers people so much about it? Who gives a crap? Nobody forces anyone to read or look at anything Tebow related.
I never understood posters who read up, watch or join every Tebow discussion you can find then complain about it. That's hypocritical. Me? If I don't care about something, I ignore it. Simple as that.
And no not when it is clear you are killing yourself and you are not going to get a shot. Not if the reasons you originally agreed to do these things was for an opportunity to play quarterback and not if you know you are in a Wildcat system that isn't where you belong. And especially not if your trade arrangement already took place. Who the heck knows?
I'm glad he's not acting like a saint. It's the first time I see him show some balls and I hope it's true.
why is there another tebow thread on here? make it stop :bricks:
LMAO! It's not in the top 25,000!That's one of the most ridiculous posts this place has ever seen.
