Marshall Faulk thinks Brady is the MVP over Peyton

Tebow 7-4
Manning 9-3...

I just wanted to focus on this for a moment. In the 11 game span (the number of regular season games Tebow started), it's even closer:

Tebow: 7-4
Manning: 8-3

So, Manning was only one game better than the much maligned Tebow, while having the advantage of improved receivers.

Sounds like Marshall got an order from upper management to say *something* positive about the Pats... so when he tears into them it seems unbiased.

I don't know how much of you all have been following the NFL network this year but 28 has been doing a little ballwashing as of late.

He has on many occasions praised Brady and this NE team.

Don't really know what the deal is behind that...

Fair or not, Peterson will be penalized for having played in 12 games last year while Manning played in 0.

Peterson came back from injury quickly, but so did Welker in 2010, and that narrative wasn't enough to beat out the quarterback (Vick that year).

Peyton Manning is a great QB, Hall of Famer for sure, but he gets more love from the media than any player I have ever seen. He is a lock to win MVP and CPOY even though he wouldn't be my first choice in either instance.

HA. Probably let some profanities out when he got the script. He most likely called his Rams buddies to explain after.

brady wins/loses the MVP depending on how he plays against the Texans/49rs...

That could be true.We will see.Manning has more td passes right now.

Let me put it this way. If brady wins mvp , then there will be whole lot of people saying manning shouldve won it. But if Manning wins it , very few people will say the other way. And Manning is going to win it. He has decent stats. He is always there for interviews, always in ads, in the media, his dad is doing rounds on radio shows. He has replaced brett favre for the media to kiss **** although he is more deserving than favre.

get ready for the manning is amazing talk after facing a tough division opponent...:bricks:

This reminds me of Justin Timberlake in The Social Network.

A million dollars isn't cool anymore. You wanna know what's cool? A billion dollars.

A 3:1 TD to Interception ratio isn't cool anymore. A 5:1 ratio is MVP territory.

More manning ballwashing. Everytime he wins we talk about his legacy.

I think one of the biggest fallacies I keep reading (not on here) is that Brady just plays in a weak division, and hes not an MVP because of how bad the AFC East is.

The AFC West is hands down the worst division in the NFL right now. Besides the Broncos that division has combined for 9 wins. The AFC East besides the Patriots has 15 wins.

This.

In 2010, it was down to Vick & Brady when Brady separated about this time when the Pats kept rolling and Vick stumbled. Manning's schedule continues to be painfully easy with the exception of next week's game. If Brady plays strong against two of the other top teams in the league while Manning stumbles next week, it will be hard for even the biggest Peyton ball-washer to justify unjustly gifting him the MVP.
