Big props to McCourty and Vince, but we cant forget about #Powww!!

Spikes forced two fumbles, one on the goal line late in the first half, and another in the fourth quarter. I love to see his physical play - talk about violent hits. This kid brings an added, intimidating element to the Pats D.

If only we still had Harrison...
I'd take him over Gregory and Chung put together.
Provided he's healthy.

Hope Spikes is here for a long time, can't believe people thought Dane Fletcher was better.

One more adjective for the big hits today: legal. Nice to see.

Hey, I forgot to post that when I went to the AZ game I met Brandon Spikes' mother in line for the ladies room outside the stadium. All us girls were giving her hugs and telling her how much we love her son. She's very proud of him and wears a blinged-out Spikes jersey with the word "MOM" under his name.

I hear he hates the team and wants out...

:bricks:

Brandon Spikes=a young Bryan Cox with dreadlocks.

Remember the lick Cox put on Pathon on Monday night in Sept 2001?

Game-changing hits.

Exactly - this guy reminds me of a young BCox - he can change the tone of a game with hits like that....

He's the type of guy the D has needed since 2005 or so

He also had a tipped pass.

Overall, you have to appreciate the intensity and attitude he brings to the D. He does to the backer corp what Mankins does to the OL with the nastiness he brings. It is infectious.

He was unbelievable today! Loved that goal line stand!

He definitely brings the intensity up for the D. As he matures he could become a staple for this D for a decade or more. It's great to see the D coming around!

I was also loving the forearm he gave to Chandler right under the chin.

The Jackson fumble hit was downright nasty. Hopefully more of his team mates will bring that sort of heat. It's been a while since the Patriots D hurt opponents.

Hopefully the attitude continues; the Pats looked downright mean on both sides of the ball today.
