I think the rest of the league has noticed how good Brady was in the no huddle offense.
In Denver, Manning is going to run opposing defenses into the ground in that thin atmosphere. Going to Denver to play Manning is going to be death for a lot of teams. They will be 8-0 up there. They finish 13-3 for the season.
Next year's AFC championship is Patriots v. Broncos.
I just don't know which stadium will host it.
This tells us that Peyton is not about winning. If he was about winning, he'd be signing a deal in San Francisco.
I really don't think we can underestimate how much he did not want to be in a position to keep baby brother from his shots at another SB. Blood is indeed thicker than a lot of things.
Well, i guess the division favorites are pretty much set. NE/AFCE, Houston/AFCS, Denver AFCW, and Baltimore AFCN, although there will be more debate about the AFCN than the others, with some taking Pitt or Cincy.
San Diego fans have got to be concerned that their window of opportunity has passed them by, they have been the perennial favorites the past 6 years or so and now it will be Denver for the nest few years.

I am beginning to think that the 49'ers might be completely hosed. Alex Smith is in Miami and they lost out on Manning. Who plays QB?

They want to play each other in the Superbowl
Miami didn't get Smith signed before this news broke. Smith will head back to SF as fast as air transportation will take him.
