I agree. The Legend of the Tuna took a haymaker to the chin this evening.

Belichick gets in on the first ballot - no-brainer.

This is the biggest story out of Indy today.

[Whatever the poster who names himself after the old drunk who tried to kiss Suzy Kolber writes on this forum will be edited out until he explains himself for misrepresenting the "spying" allegation he threw at the New England Patriots organization].

As you can see by my previous post, I fully agree with you about Curtis Martin....but....

I'm sorry. What "spying" did the Patriots do on other teams? Please elaborate.

[The poster does not understand that there was NO "spying". The cameraman used no deception whatsoever. He was on the field in front of 70,000 spectators in the opposing stadium closest tothe NFL headquarters and media personnel, dressed head to toe in New England Patriots official garb. He took video from an unauthorized area of the stadium, however, he was out in the open and used no deception whatsoever. The only thing different from what 31 other teams did, and continue to do, is what PART of the stadium he was filming from.

The poster, is severely ignorant of that fact.].

no new posts in here, oh well moving on:)

So, I take it you'll come back in here tomorrow and congratulate Ellis and Ihedigbo publicly for finally getting their rings...... right?

Dude, no offense, but go visit some draft sites or otherwise engage in some off-season activities..... Some of us are still trying to enjoy the rest of our season. We don't need Jets trolls in here.

I admit that Jets fans have to eat crow on this season and I'll be glad to congratulate the Pats players and fans on a deserved win (unlike the AFC Championship game which should have sent the Pats home). As for Ellis, what exactly has he accomplished this season to validate the Pats paying him $4 million a year as opposed to the Jets offer of the vet minimum? Did Ellis really earn his ring? All he has done is wear the Pats laundry for a year and collect an undeserved pay check for 14 tackles and 1 sack. The Jets had some personnel issues this year, but losing Ellis was not one of them, despite the media's attempts to make that a story this week.

Ihedigbo is a JAG, nothing more.

Good luck tomorrow. In all honesty, it is a no-win situation for Jets fans. I am rooting for my box numbers.

Nice forum you guys run - erasing people's posts.

You wrote a libelous claim that is patently untrue on the day before a SB that your team has no part of. Then you write you are not here to troll.

You deserve the team and coach you root for.

BOY .. mike francesca will be crying the blues on monday.. on friday he said it would be a travisty that parcells didnt make the hof... well and how he has been ragging on the pats all year long... i hope mike on monday will be eating some humble pie on wfan... YO SOY FIESTA FRANCESSA... but congrats to martin.. wish he would have stayed a pat, but pete caroll was not bill parcells...

Still irked at Parcells for announcing
his departure the week of the SB.

One thta was within the grasp, one that would have denied
BF his one win, d%#*!@t.

The move to NY really began the modern
real time Jets hate.
Continued with the Magina.

Martin, first class good man,
benefited from the standard NY hype.

Never really blamed him, felt he must have been
heavily influenced by BP,
to whom he shows continued loyalty.
This reflects well on CMs character.

A characteristic absent in BP.

That, and the fact that it is mainly sportswriters
voting is likely why he did not get in.
Bill spent a lot of time joyously skewering the press,
something I really liked about the guy.

I will also say, it was he that brought pro football
to Boston to stay, I am thankful.

but, announcing the departure the week before the SB?

People here yapping about BB dropping mr fancy haircut before the game.

here, the coach dropped the team before the game.

Can't forgive.

BP in the end,
all about BP.

Good for you Curtis, but you should have stayed right here,
old friend.

Why should Martin pay homage to the Patriots? He played a small part of his career here.

As if a professional athlete - a Hall of Fame professional athlete is bothered by a message board posting of "Ha ha, you never won a Super Bowl." Wow, keyboard warrior, you showed him!

Congratulations to all those elected, and particularly to Mr. Martin. Thank you, sir, for the memories.

I didn't come here to troll, just to read, but this post is just unbelievable coming from a Pats fan. So the Jets following the rules to the letter at the time in signing Martin away from the Pats is a "screw job' and "left-handed tactics?"

What does that say about the Pats and the years they spent actually breaking the rules by spying on other teams to gain a competitive advantage. Or how Kraft stole Belichick from the Jets or how Belichick screwed the Jets by resigning after taking Hess' millions to stay on as Parcells' successor? If any fan of a team should not be calling out another team for screwing or stretching the rules or for stealing from another franchise, it is a Pats fan.

While you have every right to blow your horn about your team playing in the SB tomorrow, to knock Martin - one of the classiest players to play in the NFL - is completely classless on your part. Why rain on his parade, which obviously has nothing to do with the Pats on the field performance?
