NFLN: Patriots Arrive in Indy, Gronk walking off Plane without a Limp

Looks like he's moving just fine.

This is quite the overstatement:

But, if there was any doubt on whether he'd play or not, it has all been erased. The next thing we'll be hearing about is how WELL can he play, especially in the second half. Once you stop moving and cool down is when these injuries flare back up. It's why he was able to return to the game, the SB has a longer halftime than the normal game.

The most critical thing is that he stays loose during halftime, stays on a bike, jogs around the locker room, whatever it is, can't settle down with an injury like this if you want to make it through the game. Anyone who has had any kind of sprain knows that playing through it isn't the hard part, its getting back out there after resting.

Does Gronk ever settle down? He's like a 6'6" electron.

Deion looks so happy to be there..lol

He has said on multiple occasions that this is why he's happy to be back home. This is where it all began for him and this is where it will end for him. i love that guy and wish he had never left.

Bill Belichick on Indy: “I’ve never had much hospitality here … until I went for it on fourth and 2.”

Lol. 10 char

BB seems to be in a good frame of mind in his first go around with the media in Indy:D
Good sign that prep is going well so far. GO PATS:rocker:

I thought I saw some limp

I thought I saw some limp

I thought I noticed just a slight limp as well, but maybe it was just my mind playing tricks on me. You some times notice things that you're really intently looking for even when they're not really there. The mind is crazy like that. Could also be the fact that he's wearing a boot.lol

He is in a big boot. You are going to walk funny with that.

Fair point, and I hope that's all it is.

I'm in worst case scenario mode. In my mind Gronk was struggling with all his might to walk without a noticeable limp.

:bricks:

He is one week out from a high ankle sprain..He is going to have a limp.

LOL some lady asking Brady about his "party next week" comment at the send off trying to stir stuff up...Brady epically responds saying "well it was a pep rally so..."

everyone laughs...shes probably from a NY paper...

He handled that well...and he's right, it was a pep rally for us fans. You think the Giants aren't going to pump everyone up at their rally tomorrow? I did cringe a little when I heard it, but I have heard much worse from the Giants and the media all week, and their is still another week to go. :bricks:

Yeah I think she said newark star ledger. That answer was hilarious.

I was encouraged by the fact that he was walking while carrying the weight of a back pack and I think that he had another bag in one of his hands.

Waiting for the medical experts to hyper analyze how he is holding his bag on the other side to keep the minimal weight on his left ankle.

Actually, since a high ankle sprain twists outward, he is stoically defying the ankle to twist again with all the weight of that bag (which is filled with lead pellets by the way) pulling against it.

*not a doctor, but i have watched them on TV*

Bag is light - condoms are not very heavy.

LMAO..That was a hilarious WTF moment I bet from Tom..

I wish Rob walked off the plain with crutches or hopped on his right leg (as a joke) all the way to the bus. Would have been some fun stuff.
