OT: Broncos' chances vs. New Jersey

Yup. Was going to say the same thing. It's going to high 30's, low 40's around 8pm. Cold air and evaluation and short day rest. Let's hope it gives the Jets tons of problems.

LaClassian knew what was coming from his days as a Charger and conveniently got injured. ;):singing:

Well I only have 3 desired results this week leading to one outcome.

1. The Pats crush the New England-lite Chiefs in a shut out.
2. The Dolphins and Bills beat the crap out of each other with the Fins recording a slender win.
3. The Tebows win on a pick 6 with the final score 7-0.

Outcome

The Patriots move further ahead in the divisional title and solidify position a top the AFC.

I already envision him sitting on the bench like a yoda with a coat and his smoked helmet visor moping and sitting alone.

over the last 3 years, the jets are 4-1 after a pats game

4-2 if you count the playoffs

Broncos should run a up tempo option attack. Cold air, high elevation and a high tempo might wear out the Jets D line and LB's who only had 3 days of rest.

McGahee's injury, along with Moreno hitting the IR makes this a much easier Broncos offense to defend.

On the other hand, since the Broncos aren't passing much, the strength of the Jets defense really doesn't matter much. If the Broncos could have won the battle of the lines with a healthy McGahee, I'd have given them a good chance to win this game. As it is, I just don't know how they'll be able to augment Tebow.

Tim Tebow is trash, no chance Jests lose this. I'd be shocked if Denver wasnt shut out. No chance Tebow can solve any scheme Rex throws at him.

Every team Tebow has faced has probably felt the same way...

The Rats fly out west tomorrow. I've lived in Denver and I've seen I can't remember how many Pats games out there over the years. I think the Jets need to score early and often and then hang on...by the 4th quarter they'll be dead meat.

One problem I see is, Sanchez always seems to start slow..and with Lady T out, who spells Greene? McKnight?...turnovers early could spell doom. Denver is missing two top runners but their biggest threat running is the Anointed One..and if one thing is certain, anybody can run on the Jets...I mean, Revis may not even see ONE pass his way.

And, how many packages does Wrecks have in his defensive playbook for the triple option? I don't know enough about Denver's personnel but if they have a tight end with any ability, the Green Beans might have to think twice about stacking the box.

The crowd plays a big part in the HFA for Denver. Invesco/Sports Authority Field is no Mile High but it still gets LOUD. Don't discount it.

If the Donks can keep it close for 3 quarters I can see them running the ball down the Jet's throat in the 4th quarter. The Jet's D will be tired from short rest, the trip, sleeping in a hotel and the elevation. You cannot acclimate in 2-days.

Donks defense is decent. Champ still can play and the rookie Von Miller is shaping up to be a pass rushing threat. Hopefully they can keep it a 1 or 2 possession game into the 2nd half.

McGahee might play. I heard on the radio today that he could of played in the 4th quarter of Sunday's game if needed.

We are actually heading to the game. Hoping for some more Tebow magic Thursday night.

Go Pats!

the jets will make Tebow throw the ball 20+ times i say he hits he's TE for a big play or two and runs for almost 100 yards denver wins 17 to 14

Did the Jets already fly out there and practice today???

If not, they'll be dead as last year's Christmas fruitcake...it takes 36 to 48 hours to acclimate to the altitude

I lived out there for years. It takes a lot longer than that to acclimate.

Normally I would say Rex won't have any problem scheming against the odd Tebow offense, but with a short week he probably didn't have a ton of time to coach up his players on anything too exotic. Now, that might actually work in his favor, as playing a little vanilla with good fundamentals is probably the best way to defend something like that, much as I think over aggressiveness from the defense is what made the wildcat so effective for Miami at first. Once teams settled down and focused on their assignments, it lost it's edge.

Still, I think this game comes down to the Bronco's defense. Can't count on the offense getting more than 14 points (if that). Denver D is going to have to make it tough on Sanchez and probably pull off a turnover or three.

It can happen, though I'd bet on the Jets if there were a gun to my head.

I think Denver comes back to earth this week and Tim Tebow will be exposed. That little experiment will soon be over. Teams are going to figure out how to defense it all and then its going to get really ugly in Denver.

The Jets have four games worth of video on the Broncos offense to look at. They will kill the Broncos. 33-6.

The altitude will play a role, especially on a D that was gassed in the swamps of Jersey. No time to recover gives the Doncs enough time to get an option program going, maybe w/in 5 points, then run the ball using every available candidate. The Jests will be asleep by the start of the 4th. That's the only way the Doncs win. If it's a shootout, Doncs lose.

The Jets DLinemen are not versatile....but their run stoppers are stout. Fat Rex will put 8 in the box and dare Tesus to throw at Revis in single coverage. 24-0 Jets
