We're waiting for Belichick's detailed press conference when in his typical fashion he gives us his take on player injuries
Transcript of press conference hot off the wires.
Reporter: Can you give us an update on Wes Welker's condition?
BB: Sure. Yes, I can.
Reporter: OK, what is his condition?
BB: You mean, Welker's condition?
Reporter: Yeah.
BB: Oh, he's fine. Day to day.
Reporter: The reports are that the hit he took to the neck was pretty serious.
BB: Well, I haven't seen the game film yet. We'll know more when we do.
Reporter: Will he be able to practice with the team?
BB: That's up to the training staff.
Reporter: But, we're not allowed to talk to the trainers.
BB: I'll have to get back to you on that.
Reporter: What would Welker's absence mean to the team?
BB: Everybody will still be out there every day, working hard, practicing, trying to get better.
Reporter: Does that mean, his absence won't affect how you plan for Miami?
BB: I just coach the players I have to coach. That's all I can do.
Reporter: When will you have more information for us on Welker?
BB: Well, you can always check the injury report.
Reporter: But that won't come out until the week before opening day.
BB: Yeah, I guess so. We just do what the league tells us.
Reporter: [runs screaming from room]
