Ian Rappaport and Mike Reiss are reporting that RB Thomas Clayton will be released today. Does this mean the Pats are opening a roster spot for a FA (Roth, Brock) or a trade (Umenyiora)????

We can all hope!

Maybe too many RB, Osi will be too much money for a sub player.Maybe BB will change his history of paying less for sub package guys.

Nate Solder is about to come walking thru that door. Finally.

It's quite obvious, this can mean only one thing.

The Pats are bringing in Adam Seward.

Adam Seward and Albert Haynesworth in one offseason? Just hand us the lombardi already :D .

Solder, BJGE, could be either of them.

Or Roth/Brock. Not Osi, though.

I hope it's in no way related to this story linking Ricky Williams

Ricky Williams Rumors: Latest on Williams to Dolphins and Patriots | Bleacher Report

I think that writer pretty much just made all that up. I googled Ricky Williams Patriots and the only thing I found was two Bleacher Report articles speculating he could end up in Foxboro, and the stuff he said after the final regular season game in January when he ripped the Dolphins and used the Pats as an example of what Miami should be more like.

I don't know why I clicked on the article, but there is absolutely nothing in there to back up anything he wrote. In fact, the only place that I can find any rumors that Williams may be heading to the Patriots is the article itself.

So basically the writer is starting a rumor ... and based on the rumor he is starting, he's writing about that rumor.:bricks:

With patience, all will be revealed. :bricks:

Precisely. It's best to ignore anything from fanboi Bleacher Report. OK one time in a hundred fan speculation will be correct but the signal to noise ratio is intolerably way below 1.

Plus, have you seen their latest facedrop? Yeesh.

Ricky to the Pats for 3 pounds of Marijuana and a lifetime pass at Taco Bell.

I wonder if this means Kettani is the PS guy this year? He is in camp...
