For the idiots among us, and I include myself, please explain again what these lists are, Dryheat. I just don't remember from last year, although I do remember that they are among the most valuable posts of the year.

You flatter me.

Usually I don't include the first column, but I thought it might be useful so I kept it in, and it could be throwing things off.

The numbers (1-12, 13-24, etc) are the range where I value each player playing GM of the NEP. I find it too broad to list guys 1st rounder, 2nd rounder, etc. in the early rounds. Plus, what really separates a late first round pick from an early second? From the 5th round on, I just call guys 5th, 6th, and 7th round picks. I left the UDFA guys off this list.

The first column corresponds to the vertical sort, and lists their positional ranking among the players on my board. CB-3, for example, would be my third-rated cornerback. I split running backs into RB and 3RB, whether I see them as a feature back or a 3rd round/change of pace guy.

All players I classified by where I thought their best position on the Patriots would be. Obviously, some centers could play guard, safeties could play corner, etc.

Thanks Dryheat. I've printed them out so they'll be handy tonight (etc). while I watch this whole thing on television. I think this is going to one of the most interesting drafts in years.
