Read It In NY Post Early This Morning. Holmes's Actions Clearly SPEAKS VOLUMNS! I'm Gonna Write Into NY Post To Hondo Since He Put An Asterek Next To Patriots Name In Post All Year In 2007 "Caught Cheating" I'm Gonna Tell Him To Put One Next To His Jets Team " Caught Tripgating" Can Always Count On Jets To Make Us LQQK Real Good! ahem Mo Lewis!

Just curious: Do you actually hit the shift key to capitalize the first letter of every word? Or do you have a word program set to Title Case or something? Not a knock -- I hate typing and can only imagine how much longer it would take with all initial caps. :)

This scenario is absolutely great for us. Its shows just how rotten the internal working of the Jets franchise currently is. The A holes are running the asylum. Excellent!

It occurs to me that the Steelers organization deserves props for unloading this loser. Very parallel to the Patriots and Moss, in fact, except that they only managed to get a 5th in return.

Steelers fans were calling him ' Santurdio ' for a reason.

Jets are falling apart. Holmes refused to do his job? Really. And he refused to do it because... the other guy was doing such a good job? Really! Wow. Jets bandwagon is starting to fall apart at the seams. If they lose one more, watch out for a lot of people to jump off!

Yeah not hearing a whole lot of SB talk out of the players or the fans anymore.

That's Because Their Busy Jumpin Off GW Bridge. It's Great Here In NY When Jests Just Keep On Talkin Smack And They Win Their Super Bowl In Oct And Bottom Falls Out EVERY TIME They All Have That "Same Ol Jets" Feelin. I Saw Joe Bignino WFAN We Spoke And Him Of All People Know How Jets End Up.

The only thing a coach can do in a situation like this is to release the player. You simply can't have players asking out of games for these reasons.

Wow.

That is just too funny and ridiculous at the same time. Doesn't want to run back kicks because the punter is kicking "too good".

Your posts are painful. Why did you ever START typing like that? You only capitalize the first letter in titles, and even then, not on EVERY word.

lul'd x 11! Nice to see the JEST implode yet again.

I wouldn't give the Squeelers too much props.....they kept an (alledgid) rapist

Exactly, why you are missing the point. They got rid of a malcontent locker room cancer under the guise of off field behavior.

Wes Welker could rape an entire day care center for all I care, as long as his on field production is good and he is a leader in the locker room. Or do you think the Vikings cut Moss cause they wouldn't tolerate such disrespect to the lunch lady.

Big Ben was kept cause he is a team leader. Holmes was dumped for being like Moss, TO, etc..

Um, can you make your point in a less offensive manner?

Half a daycare center? :D

How about "I don't care at all what WW does in his private life?"

It isn't colorful, but it isn't gross either. Because, if you think about it, you DO care whether or not Welker commits a felony, since jail time will keep him off the field and being murdered by other inmates (as tends to happen in the above scenario) will end his career for good.

I don't care if WW commits a felony. I care if WW gets caught and convicted of committing felony. ;)

Point being Steelers kept Big Ben cause helps the team, notwithstanding is extra-circular activity. Holmes was not traded away because of his extra-circular activity but for being a egotistical malcontent. (just like a certain other WR)

Holmes never considered backing up a few yards so the punts wouldn't go over his head?

Westhoff never considered as a coach instructing him to move further back? maybe have two guys set up to return punts, on 40 yards deep and another 55 or 60 yards deep?

If anything I would think Holmes would have preferred deep punts because in that case the punter is out-kicking his coverage; that gives Holmes more of an opportunity to increase his stats. I would think a player who is more concerned with having fun than helping the team win is most likely very concerned and aware of his stats, too.

Westhoof was too busy watching tapes of past Patriot games to see if he could spot that elusive "wonderwall" to pay attention to "fiddy dollar bags a churm, yo" Holmes.
