5) Officiating was poor. At the end of the first when the reciever was CHUNGED, that was NOT a first down. Terrible spot.
.

I was suprised that wasn't at least challenged. When I saw it live I thought it was short but thought maybe I didn't see a good enough angle when they came back and it was 1st and 10. Then later they showed a replay from a good angle and it was clearly short maybe more than a yard. Luckily it didn't matter in the end

The Steelers were holding A Lot and not getting called, it was getting ridiculous.

Yeah, you could see on a lot of the replays that the reason R-berger escaped was because the guy about to sack him was being held.

The game was an obvious fix....all night the same horrible calls, must have been at least 30 clear holds...this game was tied in with that shameless fix in Cleveland today. Ratgini should be fired, arrested and incarcerated for what he pulled at the end of overtime.

The only thing I want to know is Chung's status...did he hurt his knee at the end???

I'm glad someone else mentioned the officiating. You know it's horrible when Belichick starts showing emotions about it on the sidelines.

Here is what I saw:
1) James Harrison should get fined. He clearly went at Brady's knees early in the game

2) The holding call on Light was BS. Jonathan Scott was doing much worse and was never called for it. If you are going to call it one way, you have to call it the other

3) The non-PI call with the defender holding Welker, yet on the very next series, Meriweather gets called because Wallace runs into him, initiating the contact and preventing Meriweather from making a play on the ball.

4) The unsportsmanlike conduct on the Defense for "Group Celebration" was total BS.

5) I lost track of the number of times the Steelers offensive and Defensive linemen had their hands on the Pats facemasks, yet it went uncalled.

This game was as bad as the SB that the league stole from the Seahawks and gift wrapped for the Steelers.

I seen that too, he should get a ban for it too. There was real intent to injure Brady there.

All obvious and note able comments DaBruinz.

Absolutely thrilled with tonights game. The TD's the Steelers racked on late....I blame the late game play calling. If the defense was still playing its aggressive style that we saw dominate the Steelers most of the game....the scoreboard would be different for Pitt.

The Pats continued to play an aggressive style late in the game. The refs did their best to thwart them though.

I'll gladly eat some crow, I wasn't confident at all heading into this one. Wasn't expecting a win let alone this type of win. Total domination (at least as dominant as it can get against a team like Pittsburgh). This is quite the statement game by the Pats, now we've got to be looked at as favorites heading into the stretch run, which yeah could change next Sunday you never know.

So many positives, nothing to really complain about. I guess Graham missing an XP and making me alot more nervous about this 4th Q than I had to be. And the return game sucked? I dunno. Awesome game

Save some of that crow for me. Always glad to eat it. :)

I thought only way they could win is by being at least +2 in turnovers, but they were able to pretty much dominate on both sides of the ball despite some shaky officiating. Didn't see this one coming at all.

We have un-finished business with the Colts next week, it was almost exactly a year ago that we lost in Indy on that fourth down call. I see the Patriots winning next week and the next two games after that. Detroit and the Lucky Jests......10-2

mind if I ask about Chung again??...anyone know his condition?...cramps at the end of the game or a knee?

5) Officiating was poor. At the end of the first when the reciever was CHUNGED, that was NOT a first down. Terrible spot. The OPI on Gronk was terrible. DPI on Meriwhether shaky. Also how can the ref choose not to call a penalty when you hit a pr after a fair catch?
.
oh good -- I'm not the only one who noticed this stuff.

The best part of this game was watching Hines Ward get knocked the **** out. Steelers were man handled all night. I've been saying for a long time that Pittsburgh is one of the most overrated teams, they're way to old. And it's starting to show with all the injuries.

this is why i love that i am a new england patriot fan. tom superbowl brady spiked that ball and said " i do it consensually" we punched them in the mouth. 7-2 feels better than 9-0 for some reason. god bless tom superbowl brady. god bless that d also. hines ward can you hear me , hines can you hear me , no you cant your concussed. jets got lucky again we will kill them at the blade

I know Gronkowski had a great game today, but I was wondering why he was out there so much more than Hernandez? Was it something to do with pittsburgh's scheme? Any thoughts?

Blocking. He offered more options.

Won't be much better next week when Polian and the whining Colts come rolling into town.

I think it must have been cramps, if it was his knee he wouldn't have been out there.

And we were a Ty Warren, Leigh Bodden, Stephen Gostkowski, Kevin Faulk, and Nick Kaczur away from being 9-0. Right? No. Injuries are part of the game. I had these so called experts. I can't even watch that stuff anymore.

Only thing watchable on NFLN is the Sound FX segment. The experts or analysts have zero comment during this segment.:rolleyes::rolleyes:

to be fair the 2nd time around he said he has been down on the pats secondary because of their youth etc but its time now to pay attention to them,
