Hope you stomp Minnesota/Dallas next week at home. Play like you did today and you'll be in good shape to go all the way. I'll be really pissed if you let one of those 2 teams make it to the SB, or if you let Indy or San Diego win the SB.
Great post pherein, and FWIW I'm rooting for the Saints to win it all. You have a great team, and I bet you guys'll go all the way.
Thanks hope we can finally win a NFC Championship
pherein - this is definitely THE Saints team we saw earlier in the year - like I said in my previous post, if you guys were 1/2 way healthier, you would have beaten us in wk15, and there would have been another "Why did the Cowboys after anoter Dec swoon?" talk...otherwise, Shockey and Bush would have been in there to block and make plays(as you know, Shockey was a Cowboy killer when he was with the Giants). If we have to play again, I can not imagine Ware having the same monster game.
Whatever adjustments Sean Payton made during the bye week, it obviously worked, and it should carry over into the Saints' next games. Getting that bye in the playoffs is HUGE for that reason - rest and more time to regroup/prepare. And, of course, your D players are healthy now.
BTW - the Saints D looks BETTER WITHOUT Charles Grant - is this guy really the slacker everyone makes him out to be?
Looking good Saints! Reggie Bush runs that hard and physical throughout the playoffs and you'll have yourselves a SB championship.
Boy was that not what everyone was waiting for? Bush just nailed it, north to south, ran as he was drafted to run, just wow. WE belived in this kid for so long and to see a game like this, just wow, but if he fails well still believe , we are N.O. after all. He had a really good day, happy for him.
Congrats on the win! I thought the Arizona offence would show up more than it did...
Thanks we never win, Im a little taken back on this, we have only been to NFC Championship once before. We are really kind of stunned by our boys pulling this of
Same here. I actually thought the Cardinals had a chip on their shoulder and would pull it off. Looks like I was wrong.Congrats on the win! I thought the Arizona offence would show up more than it did...
I think you guys will get used to it eventually. Payton and Brees are a really solid combination there, so enjoy it because it's still fresh and new, but this won't be the last time so long as you have those two there.
Great game yesterday. Bush was amazing, especially the power running. Loved the flea flicker. That seemed like a major turning point in the game. The defense really stepped up; it's amazing what healthy guys can do. And what a job by Gregg Williams this season.

Thanks for the nice words, even though those of us who followed the Pats well before 2001 do have some experience with losing seasons and losing big games.
Congrats on the win yesterday, though I did think that the Cardinals would give you more of a game than they did. I don't know whether it was because of the all-out effort against the Pack last week or just too many injuries and missing parts catching up with them, but they didn't put up much of a fight past the first quarter or so.
If I were you, I'd be pulling for the Vikings today, whom I just have a gut feel you will handle. I'd be worried about the Cowboys. They have a chip on their shoulder, they have a lot to prove and they are on a mission.
So, now the Saints are "my" NFC team to win it all. I'll also be pulling for you against any team from the AFC.
PS: don't give up on next season so easily or so soon; doesn't speak well of your team or its fan base.
