It's easy, and only takes a few moments.Until Russell decides he wants to put forth a legitimate NFL effort it doesn't matter how much "talent" he has. The odds of your scenario playing out are about the same as Brady and P. Manning both deciding they've had enough and both retiring this offseason.that's not necessarily good news. if the raiders hire anyone with an ounce of competence, it may unleash some of the talent that Russell has. With Cable we are guaranteed the top 10 pick.

Rumors are flying around that Al Davis wants to hire Mike Leach, a certain guarantee of a top 5 pick.
What difference does it make if it is a top 5 or a top 10 pick. BB will just trade down to the middle of the first round, for picks in the next draft. Which he will in turn use to trade into the draft following the next, and so on and so forth....(Yes I do remmember Mayo went #10)

Some here will call you negative, but you are exactly right. I keep getting excited about these draft picks, but BB never cashes on them, and keeps trading down in the draft, or out of the draft all together. It's been a waste of time getting excited about draft picks, so I'm going to try not to do so this time.

LOL, maybe you guys are right! The Raiders' '11 draft pick COULD be top 5! Good grief, if this is true look for the Chargers to have two guaranteed wins against the Raiders next year.....again. I just don't get how they are still going with this guys, if true.
