Glad we won. But i'd like to see at least ONE play out of Burgess per game. All I saw of him was him getting pushed to the side. TBC continues to impress. Secondary needs to play a little bit better. Brandon's are scary physical. Good win, very physical. Hope Light isn't out for the year, although Connoly filled in admirably. Vollmer was a great pick.

Someone posted here recently that we have been undefeated after the bye for the last few years.

But, I admittedly did not check that fact and my memory is not helping much either.
I don't think so i think we have struggled the first game back, I could be wrong

how many freakin' calls went Miami's way??? like twenty?? Mike "The Fixer" Carey really showed his bias with that spot he made after the ref spotted it and then HE came running in and moved it back....2 TD's taken away because of penalties called by The Fixer or the Patriots win this game by 21 points going away. That team doesn't belong on the same field as the Patriots. They commit P.I. on every single passing play and bet that a ref like THe Fixer is working the game and will only call 1 out of 5.

Really hope that Tate didn't tweak his old injury...

Can we all please leave Maroney alone?

Okay, let's all please not turn this thread into a Maroney thread. The kid had one good game after a string of not-so-good ones. Hopefully, what we saw today will continue for the Pats sake and, frankly, this [expletive] board's sake too.

Under Belichick the Pats are 8-2 in games after the bye week.

The two losses came in 2000 and 2002.

So did James Sanders play? I failed to notice him.

Miami played us tough. GOOD!! I want this team to be challenged. It will prepare them for the playoffs. I don't care if we win by 1, 3 or 20 points. I just want to see this team compete effectively with good teams.

Hey... burgess made a tackle. That's more than Joey "loud mouth" Porter did.

Are we going to get anything out of any of our offseason pickups . . . besides McGowan of course. Burgess . . . nothing. Springs . . . nothing. Galloway . . . nothing . . . cut. Even Bodden is sometimes irritating to watch, especially today. I really like him, but he just fails to make plays at times in games. He's too gifted to be playing off so much.

I think the best way to look at this game is that Miami giot every break going and still lost by 10.

The interception was a freak catch...he lost it twice on the way down and somehow had it come back to him...nice play sure, but the odds of it happening are tiny.

Hated the announcers - making an issue out of the clock at the end of the 1st half..."If you're the Dolphins you maybe think someone has given the home team a call there..."

Insufferable innuendo.

Its another win at home.

Indy are going to come out throwing the ball so we better find a way to get a consistent pass rush or its going to be a shoot out with a team that is the most underwhelming 8-0 team in history.

Banta Cain and McGawon are crazzzy. I actually don't think Mayo is the best player on defense as some believe.

I've been jocking McGowan all season. Banta-Cain is just Mr. Consistent out there. They were, by far, our best offseason acquisitions, especially since many were saying that McGowan would be lucky to even make the team.

Fred Taylor looked fine prior to his injury. TBC has played well.

Sometimes hyperbole is a good tool to use. Other times, not so much.

Taylor = not on the field. Also, check my other posts for what I think of Banta-Cain. Get the [expletive] outta here clown.
