Brady will never be the same

Re: Brady

There's a reason that Denver is 5-0. They get paid to play too. I don't like what I see much either, but you have to assume Brady will find it. He's too good and works too hard. I hated where they went after Light went down. Terrible play selection.

This thread is obviously off the mark.

However, if the OP meant that Brady will never be the Brady of 07, then I agree.

Look at his career. He is basically a smart QB who gets about 3800 yds, 28tds, 13 td's a year.

The 2007 season was an aberration.

If people believe that Brady is capable of Manning-level stats for this season or the rest of his career, then they are mistaken.

Remember the Dolphin game a few years ago? He came back pretty well after that game.

Piss poor tackling and a 99 yard drive by Orton followed by a 80 yard drive. Man every time he passes, it seems they were getting 8+ yards

Somebody please give Pees a swift kick in the nuts or whereever you like and chuck him out. wtf is that soft zone D and no blitzing

and not to say the least, Brady, f***** stop *****ing about receivers dropping passes and step on it already

Re: Brady

Dever Bronco's SPECIAL TEAM BEGGED TOM BRADY TWICE to put some points on the board and he FAILED MISERABLY.

TOM BRADY SUCKS. OUR OC SUCKS. It looks like we won't make it to the playoff far this season.

Without bothering to check who posted this thread or to read any of the responses, what a load of ****. Brady threw a game-ending pick against Denver in the playoffs a few years ago. In 07 he came back and posted fifty touchdowns. Yes, he had a bad game. Give it a ******* rest. Flame the coordinators instead.

Doesn't he always suck in Denver?

That is not valid answer.

Maybe its...Gisele,baby and Marriage. He doesn't seem to be in the right Mental state to me. Love can do that to you.

Re: Brady

Brady sucked today, he left at least fourteen points off the board with horrible throws. The team goes as far as Brady can go, if he keeps playing like he did today the Pats will be contending for a wild card spot for the rest of the season.

a wild card spot? Lets try out of the playoff picture completely....if he can not get somewhere close to the "old Tom Brady".....I think maybe everyone in the media got us thinking that the "old Tom Brady" was back and was going to set more records and be better than ever........He obviously has NOT recovered 100% from his injury yet....and it may take him perhaps another year to do so. Look at Palmer (well despite the fact that he played for a horrifically bad team).....took him a few years to get things going again. Brady will be back......but may take longer than this season to do so.......just be realistic about it......

Re: Brady

he's terrible I dunno. its painful to watch sometimes. He has had bad games and has even played worse than this but just not so consistantly. he looked to be gettign better last week but then regressed this week. i'm not sure what to think about him but i'm scared as hell that he may never be the same ala Palmer. Nothing to do but sit back and hope for the best i suppose.

Orton was the man today, peas should resign and retire from the nfl.

Right now Brady looks like an average qb...right now.

Yep.

Mentally, he's not there. Sucks.

They've played 5 games and at least 3 of the opposing QBs outplayed him.

Orton was all World today. What was he 80% passing?

Brady, Brady, Brady, you break my heart.

It's time for us , fans, to eat our 'humble pies' because we didn't see any 'greatness' in TB AND BB today.

I'm actually starting to believe the reason why the play calling on offense is so suspect is because Brady might not be able to direct it ......

Re: Brady

I hope we don't have to listen to the homers tell us it was the O-Lines fault.

The O-Line played great today. Brady had all kinds of time.

You are right....the OL played great today overall......they did seem to slack off in second half as far as opening holes for the running game.....but they gave Brady plenty of time to make the throws.....he just did not deliver.....This loss is on Brady.....

I was realistic about it watching him last week I thought he was only going to get better. I was wrong, he had moss n welker for easy touchdowns today, his vision is there his accuracy has just been horrible at times. Those two bad throws lost us the game. Oh yeah pee brain peas should resign...

Came here to post this... on the way to a SB victory, he cost them a late season game vs Miami. Yes, the offense was the reason for the loss. The 98 yard drive was hard to stomach, but allowing the same amount of points in 60 minutes (17) as they themselves scored in the first half... one would think the O would've sealed the deal.

But... the sky isn't falling - and something tells me that with truth syrum, a lot of you would prefer TFB to most QBs out there. Sure sucks right now though. Thought we'D be going to Indy with 1 loss.

Orton looked like all pro, thanks to Pees ! This one is squarely on him. With Mayo back, we should have blitzed the crap out of Orton :scream:

Re: Brady

Really? Matt Cassel? You're really serious about this???

Brady had a crap day and he missed at least 2 more TDs and a ton of other throws.

He's also coming back from major surgery. Yet he had a 97.4 passer rating and scored 2 TDs against the #1 defense in the NFL. This was a BAD game.

You want to replace him with THE Matt Cassel, with his mighty 58% completion percentage and amazing 178 yards per game passing, not to mention 4 fumbles in 4 games?

I know people are upset with Brady. I understand the frustration. But lets not get carried away.

What do you mean, bud - physically or mentally ?
