As it seems to do year, after year, after year.Man it seems like our depth in the secondary has disappeared over night.

Where's Hank Poteat?

This would not be a huge issue if we could pressure the QB. The Giants had a horrid secondary last year, and they beat us with pressure. To bad we can't pressure the qb
The same group we played most of the Indy game with. Hobbs, O'Neal, Wilhite. And now Webster. The Bills have one real WR and JAGs, we can get through this game with this group.
Almost 200 yards of their passing was to TE/RB. They only had about 100 to WR. Their TE/RB may make some plays against us but it won't play to our weakness at CB. Any team whose strength is the power game we have a decent shot at stopping.unfortunately, it's not just their wr's we have to be aware of. they only got 30 yards rushing but still managed to get 289 yards passing against the jets, who have better cb's than we do. they've got playmakers at RB who can catch passes and get plenty of yac, and we have to watch out for their te's, although their te's seem pretty inconsistent this year.
Here's a thought, which may well be ******ed:
Assuming Hobbs and O'Neil can stay on the field, and Meri can get beasty, can't we run a lot with our "stealth depth" and get Brandon in as a Hybrid Safety/3rd CB?
Both Ventrone and Slater are educated at safety and RayVen©®™ is reportedly a beast in the rough. He could possibly cover the slot.
If I'm way off, educate me. I learn more from that than ridicule.
Hobbs, O'Neal, Webster, Wilhite, Richardson, Spann if needed...
Yeah, we're definitely screwed. I mean, this group gave up a whole 18 points to slouches like Peyton Manning and Reggie Wayne. I'm terrified to see what Trent Edwards, Lee Evans and *insert JAG receiver here* can do against us!
The defense did fine, on average they're on the field 30 minutes. that's only 20% more than 25 minutes. That prorates out to 22 points. Solid game.18 points in 25 minutes. What a shut down performance!
