I know this is a tough one to take, but its not any tougher than the loss we had in Feb.. I think think that is really carrying over .. The loss of Brady just compounds things.. We will do what we can, and play the best we can... But unless they show some heart on D, the offense cant bail them out this yr.. Its just not going to happen..

Player of the game - Ellis Hobbs- not on defense but on special teams, too bad his play only neeted the Pats 3 points..

Goats of the game- The coaching staff, how many more times could they not stop the Ronnie brown play...

Overall like I said if the D does not improve, Cassel is not equipped ,until proven otherwise to win a game on his own... And I think he has 3 more games to show what he could do..

i am not gonna lose any sleep over this **** i figured when brady whent down that there would be a lot of inconsitancy. i did not expect them to lose, much less get crushed, but you have to expect some ups and downs. they cant win every regular season game

Re: No panic , just dissapointment

Hobbs got us 7 points by putting us near the 20

Re: No panic , just dissapointment

Can someone start the official trade for Larry Johnson thread?

I say give up Maroney and a pick. Johnson definitely wants out of KC and we need a tough back like him to grind some defenses down.

He wont be able to do anything either until the O-line gets its **** together.

Re: No panic , just dissapointment

Great idea, trade a young back and a draft pick for a guy on the back nine of his career.

Re: No panic , just dissapointment

How many pts did we score with Brady in the SB? Until the OL blocks better we are not going to win many games. I don't care about the defense yet.

We need the OL to block. They have been bad.

Yeah, Capers and Pepper Johnson didn't do a good job of shedding blocks on those runs.

We place way too much emphasis on coaching around here. There was zero execution by the players on the field.

+1
Well said.

Wow...I remember people saying the same things about Corey Dillon...

Since when are any of us gonna get on veteran football players (AKA our ENTIRE defense).

Let me correct this title......PANIC!!!....and the Pats should be EMBARRASSED.....Cmon man....you can't sugar coat this horsesh#t........This is one of the worst, and most embarrassing losses in Patriots history......Here we have the rebuilding dolphins....DESTROYING......the "supposed" VERY GOOD Patriots team IN THEIR OWN HOUSE......Cassel SUCKS.....the OL SUCKS.....and today.....the defense SUCKED A##......The coaches DO NOT PLAY THE GAME......the team does.....This was all about how much SACK do you have as far as the D was concerned....and they proved to have a ant's sack today........awful...and despicable play by this defense......Haven't seen our D play this bad in over a decade........sad......

Re: No panic , just dissapointment

As Pats fans we have gotten spoiled with winning teams and it seems when a loss happens, it's the end of the world. Sure, it was a bad game, but the season is far from over. I'm not sugar coating anything. Hopefully the bye will help the team improve and get ready for the 49ers.

POST OF THE DAY...you sir deserve a gold star. Thank God my power went out in the middle of the second quarter. I'd probably be even more pissed off I had seen the entire game. I had to settle for sitting in my car to hear the broadcast and listening to my friends complain all afternoon. I have been saying that this OL sucks for a long time. THAT IS THE PROBLEM. They suck at blocking whether it's the pass or the run. They better build a fortress for Brady this offseason. What they have out there is not working. Jeez, we have six running backs and none of them can do anything out there because of that pathetic offensive line. Now I'm not letting the defense off the hook. Neither side of the ball covered themselves in much glory today.

It wasn't because we lost is was how we lost.
