There is a lot of Brady in Cassel...

Anyone who has spent years behind Brady will have to have similarities. He knows the playbook and with the team/fans behind him he can execute if he has the confidence. He wont be Brady or close to it, but he can give the team a fighting chance every week if he hasnt had his thumb up his butt these past years.

They both at QB started for there High School teams thats about all the similarities I am willing to concede.

They are both white men, from California who play QB. That's three more.

a lot of Brady in Cassel eh? I think there is probably a lot more Brady in Giselle with all this free time!!

Out of curiosity...I checked on some of the NFL's QB wonderlic scores (intelligence test).....NFL average=24

Tom Brady 33
Tony Romo 37
Eli Manning 39
Peyton Manning 28
Carson Palmer 26
Ben Roethlisburger 25
Brett Favre 22
Dan Marino 15 (wow)

Matt Cassell 30

Wow, looking at that list, how the hell can anyone think that Wonderlic correlates in any way to NFL-intelligence? Any test of a QB where Brady and Manning don't come out on top is probably a sham.

To give you an idea of how smart Eli Manning is, I heard from a friend (who knew the girl in the story I'm about to tell) that while at Ole Miss, when Eli was rejected by a girl he wanted to hook up with, he paid her back by taking a crap in the upper tank of her toilet, aka, an "upper decker". That's the level of intelligence we're dealing with. That's the guy who was Super Bowl MVP last season. Wow.

We'll find out... but not every team is going to be as easy to beat as KC or the Jets. And lets face it... the Jets are way over-rated. They barely beat a Miami team that was lucky to win one game last year and now they are favorites to win the division??? The pats will most likely expose the jets this week end. But that will not answer the questions about Cassel.

he wont really be tested until another month from now, against San Diego, and even they aren't all that good.

I doubt we win by all that much more with Brady. We have an easy schedule, a defense that has finished in the top five two years running, and a solid array of weapons. We should be alright.

Cassel? Or Giselle?

Regards,
Chris

Already I see remarkable similarities between the two.

I think Cassel very well could prove to be a fantastic QB given a little bit of confidence and experience.

So don't worry about not seeing any Brady on the field. I think we'll be treated by the student of Brady.

You need to see a psychiatrist as soon as possible man....you are starting to see things that simply ARE NOT THERE!!! ;)

Pats fans rallying around Cassel are starting to sound like Miami fans after they drafted Beck. I hope the guy has a great season, but seriously, the proof is in the pudding.
I would just stay out of the way of the stampede from the "Cassel sucks we should cut him" camp to the "Cassel is a lot like Brady" camp.

Wiping the tears from my eyes now...

What a beautiful, heartwarming story you tell.....

Have any more?
