The Patriots coaching staff had a great game plan to take away the best things that Arizona does, have Kyler Murray be a factor running the ball, and taking away DeAndre Hopkins.

The Patriots may catch a break with Murray’s sore shoulder, he may not be able to run as much, but this should still be a big advantage for the Cardinals. 

Deshaun Watson had played them extremely well in his earlier starts but on Sunday, he looked like a magician.

Newton finished the night a very good 27-35 for 274 yards and rushed for two touchdowns. 

One of the biggest problems the Patriots have seemingly had for much of the season has been the ability to put together a complete game and find a way to win.  Monday night’s showing down in New Jersey was definitely a nice way to get back on track after they finished the night with a walk-off win to beat the Jets 30-27.
