Matthew Judon Returns To Offseason Recruiting Efforts, Makes Pitch To Aaron Donald
Brian Fluharty-USA TODAY Sports
While the official start to the NFL offseason is still over two months away, the New England Patriots unofficial recruiter/General Manager, Matthew Judon, returned to work this week over Twitter.
His first target? Los Angeles Rams All-Pro defensive end Aaron Donald.
On Thursday, Judon replied to Donald who was initially responding to NFL Network’s Peter Schrager who was discussing his potential future beyond Los Angeles on his podcast.
Schrager and guest Chris Long addressed recent rumors that Donald was considering leaving the Rams after his Twitter bio briefly read: “former NFL D Linemen for the Rams.” He later changed it back to, “NFL D Linemen for the Rams.”
Seeing an opportunity, Judon told Donald nobody in New England is wearing a jersey with his number 99 on it.
Aye ain’t nobody wearing 99 in New England. Just saying 🤷🏾♂️

Despite Judon’s efforts, Donald remains under contract with the Rams through 2024, however, you never know if you don’t ask right?
We’ll see who Judon goes after next, especially when NFL free agency opens on March 15th.
