The 2022 New England Patriots didn’t achieve their goal of returning to the playoffs, but a few individual players had notable standout seasons that gave the team a chance to win every week.
Over social media this week, the Patriots created a few highlight videos covering the best plays from linebackers Matthew Judon and Josh Uche, running back Rhamondre Stevenson, and special teamer Marcus Jones.
Judon and Uche were a dynamic, pass-rush duo all year on defense, combining for 27 sacks and becoming the first Patriots teammates since 2011 to reach double-digit sacks.
Stevenson meanwhile, become the first Patriot running back to reach 1,000 yards in a season since LeGarrette Blount in 2016 and Jones became the first player since Deion Sanders in 1992 to have a receiving touchdown, a punt or kick return touchdown, and an interception in the same season.
