Following the tragic events that have taken place in New York City as well as in Washington DC, the NFL released a statement regarding the games for the upcoming weekend.
Statement from Joe Browne, NFL Senior Vice President–Communications Government Affairs, regarding games for the weekend of September 16-17: “Regarding Sunday’s games, we will make no decisions today. We’ll gather information and speak to several parties within the next 24 or 48 hours.”
