New England Patriots WR Terry Glenn has been suspended for four games by the National Football League for a violation of the league policy on substance abuse.

CNNSI reports that “under the provisions of the league policy, Glenn will be allowed to practice with the team and attend all team functions until the week before the regular season begins. Then, beginning Sept. 3, he will be barred from the Patriots’ first four games — the fourth of which is a home game against Indianapolis on Sept. 30. He will be eligible for an Oct. 7 game at Miami.”

No other details were made available today thus far. The Patriots are expected to address this issue at a press conference sometime later today.
