Kevin Mchale should be vote the Celtics mvp this season.

Does that answer your question?

Yeah - McHale was ripped off in the trade. Jefferson's a bust at 21 ppg and 12 rbs.

Oh wait - that's not a bust at all! Actually I think those stats are better than KG.

Why is it so difficult for people to accept the fact that a trade can be good for BOTH teams as well as the players involved?

Jefferson, Telfair, and Green in particular I think benefit from being out of the Boston spotlight, and most of us recognize Jefferson's continued talent and upside.

Garnett's intangibles and the role he plays as mentor and part of a new Big 3 go well beyond his stats of course, but its not like we gave up nothing to get him.

Credit both McHale and Ainge for consummating a fair deal for both organizations.

The trade MIGHT work out for Minnesota, but it has clearly worked out better for the Celtics at the moment.

That trade turned the Celtics into a legit contender overnight.
