I briefly heard this on WEEI a couple of nights ago, but there was no followup. The most sinister scenario is that this the is the ball D'qwell Jackson took back to the bench...the implication being that he or someone on the Colts deflated it.

Well supposedly the majority of the 11/12 were just a few ticks under 12.5 meaning somewhere in the 12-12.4 range suggesting weather as the reason as BB and thousands of scientists concluded (except Bill Nye who is dumber than Goodell). The one ball of that 11 that was significantly under inflated (by roughly 2psi) was the ball that was intercepted by D'Qwell "pizza boy killer" Jackson.

Here's where it gets interesting. Troy Vincent has already confirmed Ryan Grigson, the Colts GM was the Eric Mangini or the Rat, leaving him helpless to deny blame so we have the guy. It is entirely possible he was hoping to create a firestorm/screw the Pats and ordered the ball deflated anticipating others to be similar. This isn't exactly a far-fetched scenario because we know what lengths Colts GM's will go to in accusations against the Pats.

But yes, in short, really only one ball was significantly under inflated which basically puts that stupid Mortensen report to shame.

Have you guys noticed that all of the negative leaks from anonymous sources stopped after Kraft defended the team? The only leaks that have come out after that have been better for the pats like only one ball being deflated. I'm not into conspiracy theories unless I'm watching the X Files but I almost think Goodell didn't tell anyone to stop releasing all that nonsense until he saw Kraft get upset. I don't think anything is gonna come from this. The sad thing is the media won't spend a week talking about it. the media will just have the news scrolling across the bottom of the screen. What a joke

Like the previous poster said if nothing comes of this the media won't even cover it or care and for whatever stupid reason we'll have haters mention 'deflategate' forever.

I hope and pray, somehow it comes out that in fact the Colts did deflate the football and the media goes after them for this resulting in fines, loss of picks, etc. That would be amazing and sweet. But I doubt it.

It wouldn't surprise me if that leak is true. Brady has admitted he likes it at exactly 12.5 PSI. Weather could easily take away the .1 of the ball. If they were playing for a while with the other one, its easy to imagine it got deflated. You have 12 balls for a reason, otherwise each team would bring one
