Looks like the Mets received 1 good year 15-8 .... 2.82 era last year for the Mets with no championship.

This year Pay-Dro is 9-7 with a 4.48 ERA...the worst of his career. He has been horrendous in his last 3 games trying to come back for the playoffs.

Not to say Theo gets it right all the time...but i think he got it right on this one. Pedro has had a fine Hall Of Fame Career that just may be finished in terms of star ability...perhaps we can trade them Matt Cement-Head and Keith F'd-Up-Foulke and try to ressurect Pay-Dro for 1 last curtain call????NOT!!!!!:bricks:

PayDro finally getting the rotator cuff fixed ... will be out until June at least. Can't ever write off a HOF pitcher but I think he's toast.

I was listening to ESPN's Jeff Brantley and he thinks Pedro's career is all but over. The injuries Pedro has had this year have appeared to be a cover-up for his chronic shoulder. When he came back and was showed crying in the dugout, it was due to the pain in his shoulder versus all the other speculation. This is of course all speculation on his part, but sounds plausible. Looks like the Sox made the wise choice in not re-signing him.
