Gronk considering Acting Career?

I can’t even imagine the cringeworthy mess that would be. I’m sure he could do some action movie stuff but I’m equally sure he can’t act for ****.

Acting is something that children learn to do in every community in this country. Even Gronk can learn to do it. Now, if he were thinking of becoming a writer then that would be a steep hill for him to climb.

Really? I think he's handsome and funny enough. He'd do fine with Rock-like comedy spoofs, which seem to make a lot of $$ these days. Wouldn't you go to see him in a movie? At least once just for the laughs? Not that I want him to leave. I hope he heals up in the offseason and decides his heart is still in it on the field.

Honestly, when I first saw the headline all I could think of was a porn rendering of A Gronking to Remember.

Gronk is like Shaq to me. Yeah he could be in a movie but they’d be painful to watch. I can’t see myself ever going to see one when I can barely watch any movies I want to see.

I doubt he'll end up acting, but I do think it's probably time to start seriously planning for a post-Gronk future. He's not young in TE years anymore, and I wouldn't blame him at all if he retires to preserve his body in the near future.

He does deserve a big raise, as long as it doesn't include bonuses. His yearly $$$ though should be top of the line for TEs and perhaps WR level. (i.e. he should be getting paid $14m a year).
